Hi Kudiyon 😉
How yooo doinn (Joey Style: p) I was watching friends today for; I think the Gazillionth time!! Is it not the bestest show ever!! Jennifer Aniston’s hair style has been amazing throughout the seasons! She has such lovely hair. By the way, did you know that Phoebe is a brunette and had been wearing a wig in many of the episodes?
Speaking of beautiful hair, today I have come up with a review of a rage product: The Phil Smith SOS Daily rescue shampoo with Moroccan Argan Oil. Now Phil Smith, for the uninitiated, is a famous Celebrity hair stylist. He makes a range of products for damaged hair, curly hair, straight hair etc. etches products are quite a rage worldwide .So when I saw the Damage protection Shampoo at an international shopping site; I simply jumped at the opportunity and promptly bought it! Seriously I have no control.
Let’s see how this shampoo has fared for me.
Price: INR 1050 for 250 ml
Product Claims: This strengthening shampoo helps hair win the daily styling war. It helps to shield from heat damage while adding a killer shine. It is a Damage protection shampoo for healthy, protected hair with Pro vitamin B5 for frazzled, frequently styled hair.
My Experience with the Phil Smith Be Gorgeous SOS Rescue Argan Oil Shampoo:
This shampoo belongs to the Be Gorgeous range of products by Phil Smith and true to its name; it comes in a gorgeous red tube with gold lettering. Sigh! Aren’t we just suckers for great packaging: p? A plus point of tube packaging is that you are able to take out the desired amount and when the tube gets finishing, you are able to draw out the last drop! So no wastage!
The shampoo itself is quite runny, which works perfectly fine for me as I always dilute my shampoo before use. The shampoo lathers up quite decently given the fact that it is devoid of SLS. It is also free from parabens which I really appreciate. I find this shampoo to be adequately mild and it leaves my hair soft and shiny without any build-up.
I would like to point out that I have normal-dry hair and non-oily scalp. I also wash my hair daily and have found this shampoo to be quite gentle. Despite being gentle, it is able to remove any hair oil in the first was itself! Also, I don’t use conditioners (I have a silly idea that they do more damage than help in my case) and this shampoo does not result in tangled hair.
Having said that, since I do not style my hair, I feel that it might not be that good enough for those with very dry and damaged hair.
Summing up the pros and cons for you:
Pros of Phil Smith Be Gorgeous SOS Rescue Argan Oil Shampoo:
- Contains Argan Oil which is great for hair
- Free from SLS and Parabens
- Lathers nicely
- Gentle enough for daily use
- Keeps hair manageable
- Really gorgeous packaging: P
Cons of Phil Smith Be Gorgeous SOS Rescue Argan Oil Shampoo:
- May dry out really dry hair unless used with a conditioner.
- Not a fan of the powdery smell
Final Verdict on Phil Smith Be Gorgeous SOS Rescue Argan Oil Shampoo:
If you are on the lookout for a mild daily use shampoo for moderately dry hair, I suggest you should go for this one.
