Product Description:
Elasticizer Extreme is targeted at a very specific hair type: extremely dry, porous and very thirsty! Specifically formulated for African-Caribbean or Caucasian hair that is exceptionally processed and damaged, this product provides instant replenishment, hydration and nourishment. Elasticizer Extreme has all the moisturizing ingredients of Elasticizer, with higher active doses of the components that can really make a difference to very dry, porous and thirsty hair. Not suitable for fine, non-processed hair. Fragrance free. Use once a week as a minimum for best results.

How to Use:
The product needs to be applied on damp hair before shampoo and conditioner. It needs to be spread well and then left for 20-30 mins with a shower cap on. Then it simply needs to be washed with water. For better results this needs to be done once a week.

Packaging:
The product comes in an off-white colored sturdy plastic tub. It’s a huge tub and can be difficult to carry if you wish to travel with it.
Texture:
The product is a white thick concentrated cream. It’s smooth but feels heavy because of the thick texture.
Smell:
The product is fragrance-free; however, I still smell a weird mild fragrance when I apply it.

My Experience with Philip Kingsley Elasticizer Extreme:

I was sceptical about buying this product and did a lot of research on the Elasticizer. Finally, I got it from Areej in Abu Dhabi. The store lady performed scalp analysis, which is quite similar to the skin analysis done by brands like Dermalogica and Clinique. She suggested me to go for Elasticizer Extreme as I color my hair and use heat often to blow dry to get rid of frizz.

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer Extreme Texture

She advised me to use this once a week and apply to damp hair for minimum 20 minutes and maximum whole day. I tried that same weekend before my shampoo routine. I kept it on for 30 minutes and washed it. The first surprise was the lesser number of hair strands falling out when I used the conditioner. I did notice shine and lesser hair fall from the first week itself.

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer Extreme Back

It’s good when you want to see immediate results and then I waited to see the long-term results. It’s been four weeks now and it seems to be working. My hair feels softer, especially towards the ends. Hair fall has reduced to a considerable extent. The weather in UAE is extremely hot and the water is not really good for my hair, so I suffer from a lot of hair problems. This product has been working and I am happy to see the results. The frizz has reduced too.

Pros of Philip Kingsley Elasticizer Extreme:

• Makes hair softer and smoother.
• Has natural oils like castor and olive oil.
• Reduces hair fall with time.

Cons of Philip Kingsley Elasticizer Extreme:

• Availability is an issue.
• Expensive.
• The product is supposed to be applied generously so it will finish quickly.

IMBB Rating: 4/5
