My Take On Philosophy Amazing Grace Perfumed Shampoo, Bath & Shower Gel:
The packaging is great and appealing in the first look but not very practical in my opinion. Let me explain; it comes in a squeezable plastic circular bottle with a press in and squeeze type dispense. Since the plastic material isn’t too soft, after using three quarters, such bottles gives trouble in dispensing a controlled amount and lead to wastage of product. I would have rather preferred a pump dispenser.
With perfect consistency, neither thick nor runny, this peach liquid with minute shimmer particles is again highlighted with diving fragrance. This is a two-in-one shampoo and shower gel product. Infused with the amazing grace perfume notes (purely floral base notes with musk as heart note), this shower gel lathers rich with really small amount and once you have invested in it, it will last you long. It rinses easily without leaving any soapy residue behind. The results are amazingly clean, soft and supple skin with the fragrance staying on for a few hours. Bathing with this shower gel is a pure luxurious experience.
When used as a shampoo, the results are purely satisfying. Squeaky clean scalp, soft shiny hair, easy to detangle and you would love to sniff them as they are femininely fragrant. The only insecurity I have using it as shampoo is not performance wise but the heavy dose of fragrance can damage the hair and lead to premature greying with long term use of this product.
Let’s sum up:
Pros of Philosophy Amazing Grace Perfumed Shampoo, Bath & Shower Gel:
• Perfect consistency shower gel and shampoo with appealing packaging.
• Heavenly and divine floral and musk fragrance.
• As a shower gel, it leaves skin soft, clean and feel silky smooth.
• Lathers rich with small amount and rinses off easily.
• As shampoo, it makes hair silky soft and cleans scalp.
• Leaves fragrance in skin and hair for few hours.
• A luxurious feel product.
Cons of Philosophy Amazing Grace Perfumed Shampoo, Bath & Shower Gel:
• The fragrance in shampoo may cause premature greying of hair if used over a long period of time.
• The bottle can more be handy with a pump dispenser.
IMBB Rating: 4/5

I love products with such a beautiful yet simple packaging. I would use it as a shower gel but I don’t think I’ll be comfortable using it as a shampoo! Though, very nice post Sumera! 🙂
The way you have explained it, I would love to try it as a shower gel, but not as a shampoo for I am very particular about my hair care products. Your mom rocks, by the way! 🙂
alll tempting Philosophy products Sumera, this shade of pink is irresistible to girls I think 😛
