My Experience with Philosophy Melon Daiquiri Shampoo, Shower Gel and Bubble Bath:

Packaging:
This product comes in a heavy plastic container with the flip down top.

Texture:
The product is neither too thick nor runny. It has the right consistency and you just need a little bit at a time to produce a generous amount of lather. I usually use a coin sized amount on my loofah for my entire body.

Usage and Results:
The product claims to be all-in-1, i.e. a shampoo, a body wash and a bubble bath. The concept is catchy, but also gimmicky because if you look, any soap which lathers can be used on body or hair. I personally never use it as a shampoo on a regular basis, but I have used it on occasion when my regular shampoo ran out and it cleansed my hair pretty well in one wash. My hair is normally dry, so this product as a shampoo did not add any additional moisture to my hair nor did it do anything extraordinary like making my hair manageable or frizz-free.

As a bubble bath, it works great and produces tons of foam in water. But honestly, I don’t usually have spare time to take long baths. It is still handy in case I want to do that occasionally. As a body wash, it leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth and clean. It does not dry out my skin and if the weather isn’t too drying, I can skip my body lotion after shower and my skin does not feel stretchy.

Fragrance:
Coming to fact which sold this product for me – the delicious scent. It smells so vibrant, refreshing and fruity. There is a hint of watermelon candy scent which I adore. It smells delectable and fills my tiny shower space with scent, though the same is not true when it comes to the scent lingering on my body as it fades in less than an hour on me.

Overall I like this product, but for me it would be an indulgent purchase and not a necessity. There is nothing particularly outstanding about this product which could make it worth the high price, except the scent. So I will probably finish this one up and not really repurchase. But if you do get it in a sale for less than its retail price, I would recommend you grab it as the huge bottle lasts long time.
