Phisoderm Anti-Blemish Gel Cleanser Review

How is the summer treating you guys? I guess some of you must be really busy prepping up with your exams and the others may be fully geared planning their vacation trips and visits! I am preparing for my exams coming up, I never knew fashion designing would have a literal board exam lol! But to my surprise it does, so I have a week’s time to prepare; but yet I cannot skip IMBB because that is where my heart lies, so I am here writing as many reviews as possible in the mean-time  So let’s get started with this cleanser for my acne-prone skin. My skin is a bit oily but more prone to acne so it is really difficult to find stuff that may totally treat my skin and taa-daa I found one!

Formulated with salicylic acid 2% and chamomile flower extract, the cleanser is formulated to help unclog pores in order to reduce the frequency and severity of breakouts. It leaves skin looking and feeling smooth, clear and glowing with health. Simply massage the gel into the skin after washing, rinse well and pat dry. Use the cleanser twice a day for best results. This product does not include any gluten or soy. It is also free of animal products or byproducts and is cruelty-free.

Directions: Wet face, then gently massage cleanser onto skin. Rinse well and pat dry. Use twice daily.

My Experience With Phisoderm Anti-Blemish Gel Cleanser:

I did a huge haul from US and tried to get all the interesting products that are not available here. I got this cleanser too and I am glad I did! The gel cleanser comes in a light green bottle which is very handy and light weight. The best part is the pump nozzle and lock technology which makes it really convenient to use and carry along. One pump gives good quantity for a time’s use.
The cleanser is transparent and pretty runny in consistency. I don’t think it looked like a gel cleanser. The consistency was like a normal liquid and nothing close to gel. The cleanser was very soothing to the skin and light on my skin. It did not irritate or sting on my skin. It did not even leave behind red rashes like some other cleansers which contain salicylic acid.

It has a pleasing and very decent fragrance of bitter lime and it refreshes me every time I use this cleanser. It removes all the impurities from my skin and leaves behind a very fresh and clean layer of my skin. My skin actually feels very smooth and silky when touched. It will not brighten the skin or improve the complexion, so do not expect such high things from this little cleanser. All it will do is to clear up the skin as much as possible.
I got a lot of pimples/acne recently due to the changing weather or medication and my face was filled with all those small red bumps. But this cleanser definitely helped me to clear up all the unwanted blemishes to a very good extent. It reduces or rather totally prevents further breakouts. Also it reduces the redness and the size of the pimple in 1-2 days and then makes the pimple disappear.

Also my acne always leaves scars behind which looks very ugly and this formula helped me to clear up those blemishes and scars in a few weeks. The change in my skin is very much noticeable and i could literally see how well it has cleared up my skin. So my suggestion for all the acne-prone skinned beauties would be to grab this little bottle and make you acne disappear in a few weeks.

• It has a very mild and decent bitter lime fragrance which is really refreshing.
• It cleans all the impurities from the skin and leaves my skin super clean.
• My skin looks really healthy and soft after using this.
• It did prevent further breakouts and I couldn’t notice a lot of pimples popping up.
• It did help me with fading the blemish marks as well.
• My skin was clear to a very good extent after using it for 3-4 weeks.
•  It reduces the redness and size of the pimple in 1-2 days.

Cons of Phisoderm Anti-Blemish Gel Cleanser:

• Not available in India.
• It may further dry out already dry skin.

Will I Repurchase/Recommend Phisoderm Anti-Blemish Gel Cleanser?
Yes definitely! If I ever come across this, I will be the one to pick up all the bottle available in the store. This is one of the best products I have used for my acne and it did the job fairly. People who have acne-prone skin and can get this, do get it and you will thank me for recommending this.

Conclusion:
The cleanser is very soothing to the skin and it is one of the few acne products which have actually worked. So I swear by it and would probably save it for the time when I have a huge acne-breakout!
