Physicians Formula Argan Wear Ultra-Nourishing Argan Oil Review

By Kajol Dave

Hey guys,

Hope everyone is enjoying their winter time. Since winter is that time when our skin tends to dry up a lot, I decided to pick up the well-known Argan oil. I came across the Physicians Formula Argan Oil and since the brand only uses natural ingredients, I thought I should give it a try. Read on to know my views regarding this oil.

My Experience with Physicians Formula Argan Wear Ultra-Nourishing Argan Oil:

Packaging: The packaging is quite cute but you cannot travel with it. It has a dropper which is not quite great because it doesn’t hold in the product and you could spill the oil everywhere. I guess my package has an issue.

Texture: The texture is soft and smooth. It feels like you are literally applying proper oil. The texture is a little thick and if you have really oily skin then avoid this product!

The PF website says that this oil brightens plus it can be used as a moisturizer, primer, protector and for treatment purposes, so it really grabbed my attention. Besides this it is also pure Argan Oil. I have been using this for 2 weeks and I have not noticed anything different with my skin. This product is not fragrance free whatsoever. It has an irritating fragrance plus it is a bad primer.

Don’t use it as a primer at all. I would suggest people who have already purchased this product to add two drops in your foundation or CC or BB creams while applying. It makes the foundation go on smoothly and helps it blend well. It also gives a dewy look to the skin when mixed in with the foundation. I did not like this as a moisturizer for the day because it has no SPF and tends to make your face look too oily. I have started applying it at night from the past 2 days and I like how glowing my skin looks in the morning. Till now, the product has not reduced any lines or dark spots or made my skin bright at all.

I am pretty disappointed with this product. It did nothing to my nails or hair. Even though I take a little quantity and apply it on the wet hair, it makes my hair so oily. I did try applying it before taking a head wash and it didn’t do much for my hair. I only like that it helps the foundation and also works well for the night time. I will continue testing this product but this Argan oil can be easily skipped.

Pros of Physicians Formula Argan Wear Ultra-Nourishing Argan Oil Review:

• If added with foundation, it gives a dewy finish and makes the foundation smooth.
• Gives the skin a glowing look.
• No parabens.

Cons of Physicians Formula Argan Wear Ultra-Nourishing Argan Oil Review:

• Has an annoying fragrance.
• Did not brighten the skin.
• Doesn’t work well as a primer.
• Feels too oily.
• Didn’t do anything for the hair or nails.
• Expensive with the shipping charges.
• Messy dropper.
• Not travel friendly.
• Not meant for oily skin at all.
