Directions:
May be worn alone or over makeup. Lightly brush powder over face and neck for a smooth bronze glow. To accentuate and contour apply more over cheekbones. For the most even application, be sure to tap excess powder from brush before applying.

My Experience with Physicians Formula Cashmere Wear Ultra-Smoothing Bronzer:
Packaging:
The Physicians Formula Cashmere Wear Ultra-Smoothing Bronzer comes in a brown felt-covered compact. There is a transparent window on the lid which lets you see the actual bronzer inside the compact. As with most Physicians Formula packaging, this one too is adorable, with a cute tassel hanging off one end of the compact. The compact has a magnetic closure and opens on both sides. The top lid opens to reveal the bronzer. There is a beautiful knit-pattern embossed on the bronzer, keeping with its name – Cashmere Wear. The bottom lid opens to a mirror and a mini brush. The brush is quite small for bronzer application and is not very soft.
Shade and Finish:
The Physicians Formula Cashmere Wear Bronzer comes in only one shade – “Bronze”. The bronzer is a medium brown with orange undertones and has a satin finish. The yellow knit pattern is golden in color and has a shimmery finish. You can swirl your brush all over the bronzer, if you want more glow in your bronzer.
If you wish to avoid the shimmer, you can make sure that you avoid the shimmery knit pattern. You can then get a bronzer with a satin finish. It is still not completely matte. You can see a slight sheen, which makes the skin look healthy.
Do note that this is not a contouring powder nor does it have cool undertones. It is a pure bronzer, so you cannot contour with this. It is quite warm tones and works really well as a bronzing powder.
Texture:
The bronzer is very finely milled and feels quite soft and silky to the touch. It applies easily and blends well without any patchiness. It is not powdery or kick up dust in the pan.
Pigmentation and Longevity:
The bronzer is quite decently pigmented. It shows up well on my medium skin. The bronzer lasts on my oily skin for over 6 hours before fading slightly. A slight touch-up takes it easily through the end of the day.
As with any Physicians Formula product, the Cashmere Wear Ultra-Smoothing Bronzer is hypoallergenic, fragrance free, oil-free, non-comedogenic and dermatologist approved. It is a good option for people with sensitive skin.

The compact looks so pretty. The texture seems really great from your review. I generally hear all positive things about Physicians Formula. It must be a really good brand.
It has such a pretty packaging. I remember I used to have a notebook in school which used to look just like this from the outside. I love bronzers which are easy to blend for they look effortless. Such a nice, functional product. 🙂
