Hope you are enjoying your day! Today, I am reviewing a BB cream from Physicians Formula. This is the Physicians Formula Organic Wear All-in-1 Beauty Balm Cream.

Directions For Use:
Remove protective seal. Gently shake before each use. Lightly squeeze a small amount of product and apply directly onto face and neck using fingertips to blend. Use alone or under makeup.

My Experience with Physicians Formula Organic Wear All-in-1 Beauty Balm Cream:

The Physicians Formula Organic wear 100% Natural Origin All-in-1 Beauty Balm Cream comes in two shades – Light and Light/Medium. I picked up Light/Medium and though I expected it to be lighter for my medium skin tone, it actually matches pretty well. Looks like the BB cream runs slightly darker, so the Light/Medium shade would suit “medium” skin tones.

The Physicians Formula Organic Wear BB Cream comes in a white squeezy tube with a metallic green cap. There is a small transparent window on the front which lets you see the color of the cream.

The BB cream has a thick, creamy texture and applies and spreads easily on the face, if your face is well moisturized. I have oily skin and tried using this without moisturizing my face. I thought this product might combine the moisturizing step, as the Physicians Formula 10-in-1 BB cream does. But on non-moisturized skin, it does not spread as easily as on moisturized skin, in spite of my skin being oily and also highlights any dry patches.  So, definitely do not skip the moisturizer with this one.

The organic wear BB cream gives a very dewy finish. Since I find my oily skin looking a bit too shiny, I do feel the need to set it with a powder. The BB cream lasts on my skin all day. I do find my t-zone getting shiny in a few hours, after the powder wears off and I have to retouch the powder. Other than that, the BB cream lasts till I remove it at the end of the day.

You can use it with a brush or just with your fingers, both work well for me. This BB cream has a strong scent of coconut. The ingredient list contains Coconut Water, Coconut Fruit Extract and Coconut oil! I know this might be a deal breaker for some who do not like the smell of coconuts. But at least you will smell it only during the application. After that, it will not bother you.

The coverage provided by this BB cream is sheer. You can build it up to medium coverage, which is alright for daily use. It is also hypoallergenic, dermatologist approved and gluten free, like all Physicians Formula products.

Regarding the other claims made by this moisturizer, I do not think it does any “priming and filling.” I do not see any difference in my pores nor do I see any “firming” after using it for over 2 months. People with very dry skin may need an extra moisturizer, at least for the dry spots.

Pros of Physicians Formula Organic Wear All-in-1 Beauty Balm Cream:

• Creamy and easy to spread texture.
• Sheer to medium coverage for everyday use.
• Provides a very dewy finish, which is actually a con for my oily skin, but I expect this would be a pro for dry/normal skin types.
• Travel-friendly packaging.
• 100% organic natural ingredients.
• Hypoallergenic. Dermatologist approved. Gluten Free.

Cons of Physicians Formula Organic Wear All-in-1 Beauty Balm Cream:

• Does not justify the claims of “priming and filling” or “firming.”
• Does not sufficiently moisturize the skin, have to use it on top of a moisturizer.
• Has a strong scent of coconuts which might be a con for some.

Do I Recommend Physicians Formula Organic Wear All-in-1 Beauty Balm Cream?

The Physicians Formula Organic Wear All-in-1 Beauty Balm Cream is a decent BB cream with all natural ingredients which are good for the skin. If you have dry to normal skin, you would love the dewy finish it provides. But for oily skinned folks, the Physicians Formula Super BB All-in-1 Beauty Balm Cream might be a better choice.
