I hope everyone is doing great! So today I have yet another product from Physicians Formula. This time I picked up the Youthful Wear Cosmeceutical Youth-Boosting Spotless Foundation with SPF 15. The name is quite long and says a lot about the product. If you want to know how this product worked for me, then keep on reading.
Price: $14.95 (excluding shipping charges)
My Experience with Physicians Formula Youthful Wear Cosmeceutical Youth-Boosting Spotless Foundation SPF 15:
Packaging: The foundation comes in a cute polka-dotted glass bottle which has a dropper. The pack also comes with a foundation brush which is too small!
Texture: The foundation is quite runny and liquid-ish. The texture is very smooth and silky types. It blends in great but the smell is a total dud.
First and foremost, like you must have read, the product claims a lot of things and is formulated without harsh chemicals like parabens. I got extremely excited when I read the claims on the website and that’s when I decided I needed to place an order. I got the shade Medium Beige which is supposed to be the darkest shade, but guess what? It is not for wheatish pale women at all. The foundation comes in three colours only which is really bad and there is no proper shade for dusty or wheatish women. I used this as a concealer for few days even though the smell was killing me! Nonetheless, it did not do anything to the lines under my eyes or to the spots on my face. It did not cover up dark circles or blemishes whatsoever.
The foundation took a long time to set and kept moving around. It stayed on my face for 5 hours only with a primer and I know the primer is good because I have tried other foundations with it. The foundation provides a sheer coverage and you can build it up but it tends to crease if you do not set it well.
Other than that, the dropper thing is quite messy and the brush provided with the foundation soaks up a lot of the product, so avoid using it. The glass bottle is not travel friendly at all. The main claim is that this product makes you look 10 years younger but that did not happen for me or my mother at all. We looked the same, lol.
The fact that it blends in well and feels light on the skin is amazing plus there are no harmful chemicals. The product did not break me out at all. Even though the foundation has SPF in it, it does not flash back in photos. I have to say that after the second layer, it did cover up few light blemishes on my skin but then again, why apply 20 layers to cover tiny spots when you can find good products which cover them in one go, right? Overall, I am not too happy with this product, but it can be used like a BB cream for day-to-day wear.

Would I Repurchase Physicians Formula Youthful Wear Cosmeceutical Youth-Boosting Spotless Foundation SPF 15?
I don’t think this foundation is worth buying at all. I am not going to repurchase this because I have used better foundations and want to try different ones too.
