It is again going to be a relaxing and cool weekend for us while I share some of my new and old purchase with you all! After skin care charm, my next obsession calls for a good hair care regimen considering, I occasionally suffer hair fall. My hair used to be very thick and long in my teenage years. But after joining hostel, they suffered a lot. Now that I am married, I hardly pay attention to the precious head crown. But still, thanks to my genes and mother’s care(in childhood) that I am yet to face the worst. I know, I cannot achieve thick, long and black hair again but I do my bit to prevent further damage and/or premature ageing. I try oil concoctions and regular natural hair care regimen, which work well for my oily scalp and frizzy hair.

This delicately scented, sulfate-free shampoo gently cleanses the most fragile hair. Botanical keratin helps hair appear stronger, while rice bran ceramides act as surface-cell cement to repair the outer surface and seal the cuticle. With the use of this shampoo, hair starts to look silkier, shinier and be more manageable.

My Experience with Phyto Paris Phytokeratine Repairing Shampoo:

The shampoo comes in a usual metallic bottle packaging with a flip top cap. It does have a strong smell which feels similar to fragrance coming from any hair parlor! I just miss a safety narrow seal on this bottle, as it is much needed for kids who always love to play with such cute little bottles. Though, its flip top cap has a tight lock mechanism which has certainly helped with no leakage and/or accidental spills so far! I find it user friendly and travel friendly.

Phyto Paris Phytokeratine Repairing Shampoo has a peachy, off-white runny fluid like texture which forms rich lather with water. I always prefer making a diluted solution of shampoo with water that helps me control my shampoo usage apart from giving even application every time. This shampoo is perfect for making a rich lather with 2 parts shampoo and 6 parts water, which is enough to cover my medium length hair and oily scalp at one time. It easily rinses off my oily scalp rendering squeaky clean scalp and hair without leaving any slippery/greasy residue. Also, not to forget the healthy, lustrous shine that it imparts to my air dried hair.

You can easily skip conditioner or hair styling products after using this shampoo, not always though. My hair feels light as it gently clears away dirt, dandruff and oil off my scalp and hair. I did get a little volume apart from bouncy wave which stayed for 3-4 days or till my next hair wash session. Hair fall and frizziness are both under control, but I am yet to see its anti-ageing benefits. So far, I am not suffering from any premature discoloration or graying thankfully.

Even my hubby tried it on his henna treated grey hair and felt soft and shiny hair texture which was tempting enough for him to replace it with his current hair care regimen. I am sure it is a boon for color treated, dry and damaged hair, as I myself experienced my hair texture improve from good to best. I can also feel subtle width and length in my hair while braiding, as it is not frizzy anymore and is easily manageable into braid. Even if I comb my hair only once or twice a day, I suffer lesser knots and enjoy softer manageable hair. It is my first step towards strong, healthy and lustrous hairs, I believe.

Well, I find it perfect for my oily scalp but I do need to alternate it with anti-dandruff or other treatments as it alone does not help much with dandruff. If your concern is dry & frizzy hair, weakened hair strands and/or premature ageing then this shampoo is a must try for you!
