Phyto Phytocyane Densifying Shampoo Review

Phyto Phytocyane Densifying Shampoo

Hello gals..

Hope all of you are doing fine! We all are soon to celebrate motherland’s 68th Independence Day excited? Happy  Independence Day to everyone! Today I am here to share my latest hair care purchase from “Phyto Paris” brand which is serving my purpose very well though I am disappointed to see presence of SLS in this shampoo especially when it is formulated without parabens-synthetic dyes-petrochemicals. However, I am not seriously bothered about SLS much as long as this shampoo gives me healthy and lustrous hairs which it actually does. So please read onto know more about Phyto Phytocyane Densifying shampoo..

Price: $24 for 6.7 Fl Oz (200 ml), excluding shipping and taxes

Ingredients: Cinchona Succirubra Bark Extract (Quinquina), Water / Aqua, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine (Dérivés D’huile De Coco), Lauryl Glucoside, Peg-200 Hydrogenated Glyceryl Palmate, Peg-7 Glyceryl Cocoate (Dérivé D’huile De Palme Et De Coco), Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein Pg-Propyl Silanetriol (Dérivé De Blé), Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract (Procyanidols De Raisin), Panthenol (Provitamine B5), Fragrance, Glycerin, Potassium Sorbate, Pyridoxine Hcl, Sodium Chloride, Tromethamine, Phenoxyethanol, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Citric Acid, Tetrasodium EDTA.

Packaging: This absolutely runny shampoo comes in metallic, sleek bottle with wide opening and safety cap. It can be little messy especially if you use it with slippery hands. Over all I am not pleased with its messy packaging. It does have strong smell but it does not last long and faints in a while.

My Experience with Phyto Phytocyane Densifying Shampoo:

I was  blessed with thick-long and black hair (as long as my mom took care of my hair) but my bad hair days started immediately post shifting to US plus pregnancy which totally changed my hair texture and they became almost half of their volume. Ultimately I had to chop off my long hair in hope of saving them from further damage and easy maintenance. I cannot let go off my urge to pick hair care products which clearly notify “densifying” or “anti-thinning” till today. And I am pretty happy to invest in this shampoo which certainly gives me dense  hair though I am still not sure if it actually helped me with new hair growth. I mean it gives me thick bouncy hair appearance which stays for good 3-4 days but still I cannot say that my hair density increased significantly except the fact that my hair line on forehead does appear thicker.

I use this shampoo in conjunction with similar brand hair oil but I am happier with the shampoo and not the oil (I am yet to discover its benefits). However this shampoo is too runny to my surprise. Oh yes gals, it is almost orange watery liquid which never stays on my palms and I find it really difficult to save from leaking down my palms eventually I started mixing 2 cap full of shampoos with ½ cup water and making enough lather to wash my medium-length hair. It lathers really well when diluted in water so I am more comfortable this way.  I also observed that using it in diluted water helps in covering medium-long hair and I do not need two washes to get rid of gunk plus oil off my scalp and hairs.

I simply massage it on my scalp and roots apart from strands and keep it for 2-3 minutes followed by rinsing off and I get crispy clean hairs without any traces of oil, gunk or dirt. I also oil my hairs 20 minutes prior of shampooing as per their directions and it sweeps away oil and dirt really well. I can see that it gives me super shiny and silky hairs post wash and my hairs look quite thick, bouncy and voluminous for good 3-4 days even after combing or braiding.Over all I would like to recommend this densifying shampoo to every beauty especially people who are looking for promising product for thin/limp hairs provided we keep patience and wait for months.

Let’s sum up pros and cons:

Pros of Phyto Phytocyane Densifying Shampoo

 A promising hair care product which gives dense fuller hair from first wash formulated without parabens, synthetic dyes and petrochemicals
 It sweeps away traces of dirt-oil off scalp and hairs in just one wash
 It lathers really well with water
 I did notice my hair line on forehead appear dense thick after a month of religious usage
 It gives thick, bouncy and blow dry effect to hair irrespective of air drying or actual blow drying
 It meets my topmost expectations that are healthy, lustrous and shiny hair altogether
 My hairs appear more healthy, lustrous and shiny with each wash and effect stays put for good 4-5 days
 It is gentle enough to retain moisture yet effectively cleans dirt, gunk and oil off my hair
 We get good amount of product for price hence no worries

Cons of Phyto Phytocyane Densifying Shampoo

• It is almost watery shampoo and to top it, the packaging is another disappointment which is prone to accidental spillage when used in shower
• It does not form enough lather
• We need to keep patience to see  results which might take more than 1-3 months
• It does contain sls and other chemicals

Well for me its benefits are dominant over mere cons honestly. It already gave me thick and dense hair line apart from silky healthy hair texture and hence I am keen to continue with it little longer may be 4-5 months more. Probably I will get it again once I finish it off.  For me this shampoo is 4/5 (its packaging is big turn off seriously)!
