So whenever my posts come, it Is kinda “FUN”day.. 😛 Hope you guys enjoy it. Let’s get started.
1. A base coat(optional)
2. A bright hot pink/fuschia nail polish( I used elle 18 no:F.B.113)
3. A light green/neon green nail polish(I used vov no:23)
4. Any basic black nail polish(I used elle 18 no:PK 99)
5. 2-3 Q-tips
6. Tooth picks
7. A thin art brush/bindi brush/old eyeliner brush
8. An old plastic lid/cardboard piece
9. A glossy top coat/clear nail polish(optional)
And last but not the least: NAILS 😀 😛
How To Get Super Fun looking Nails
Step 1. apply the base coat.this step is completely optional.i skipped it.
Step 2. apply two coats of pink nail paint as the base colour. If you do not have a pink nail paint, feel free to use any bright colour of your choice as a base colour. But make sure it is a matte colour with no shimmers. Let it dry completely. Clean up any smudges with a Q-tip dipped in nail polish remover.
Step 3. Now take an old plastic lid or a card board piece and put a drop of black nail paint on it. Use a drop or two at a time because when you put a huge blob of nail paint it will dry up due to exposure to air and every thing gets messed up.
Step 4. Now take the eyeliner brush/art brush/bindi brush (here I used vega bindi brush) and draw ‘c’ shapes such that 2 of them face each other..like this “( )”.draw as many such shapes as possible all over the nails. They need not resemble each other. Let it dry completely.
Step 5. Now put a drop of green nail paint on to the same plastic lid. This is our filler colour. If you don’t have a green nail paint, feel free to use any light matte/shimmery nail colour you have. Take a tooth pick and dip the pointed side in to the nail paint and start filling up the areas in between the ‘( )’ shapes.make sure the colour is opaque.add some more on top if it is sheer.let it dry completely. Finally add a glossy top coat or a coat of clear polish on top and tada…fun looking attention seeking nails are ready..
P.S. the colours used in this tut are inspired by MAC Barbie collection pics(my fave forever). You can also use a light colour as base and a dark colour to fill.Hope y’all enjoyed this fun tutorial and if you have any suggestions please let me know
