I say ‘Aloha’ as I am in a very tropical mood today! And that’s because I am reviewing a tropical and warm fragrance by Police. It is an Eau De Toilette by Police called Caribbean. I bought it when I was in dire need of an amazing fragrance, after I accidentally broke my Chanel Mademoiselle EDP bottle sometime back (*sob* *sob*). I wanted to buy the same (which I will soon), but was looking for a new perfume which is no less than Chanel. Trust me I searched and tried like close 30-40 fragrances, before I settled on this one. Read on to know whether it was worth it.
Product Description: Dedicated to girls from 18 to 28 years of age, this fragrance brings a dose of exotic, touch of the sun and daydreams about the perfect summer paradise. It opens joyfully with fresh bergamot, apple and green leaves. The heart is sweet and passionate with honeysuckle, rose, lily of the valley and a touch of ozone in it. The base does not fall behind with its sensuality and softness, offering sandalwood, musk, vetiver and cedar to the composition.

My Experience with Police Caribbean Eau De Toilette Pour Femme :
Let me start with the packing, honestly I like the packaging of almost all perfumes by Hi-end brands , as they look very stylish. Even in this case, the bottle is very interesting and attractive, colored in tropical colors. It’s a long slender bottle made of thick glass, quite exceptional, because usually you would see that 75 ml-100 ml bottles would be a bit bulky, but this one is sleek and slender, but really looong and it shouts ‘tropical’!
I generally prefer to use EDP over EDT, because of the concentration and staying power, but this one is available only in EDT form. So the staying power is not that great, in fact the EDTs that I have tried before have better staying power than this. It stays on me for only for 3-4 hours, which is not up to the mark, especially when compared to Chanel Mademoiselle.
Now coming to the fragrance, there is just one word – “divine”. It smells amazing and is not too strong. It opens with tangy notes of bergamot and green apple and after a couple of seconds, settles into a more fruity and sweet smell. The middle notes are a good combo of floral and sweet things, and as time passes it fades into a musky sweet fragrance, which is not woody, but calms your senses with its sweetness.
It is one exceptional combination that I have come across, where you have different notes at all three levels (citrus, sweet & floral and then musk). It is perfect for daily wear and office goers can carry it very well. For date nights also, it would be suitable, provided if you are not looking for a good staying power. I definitely see wpmen in the age group of right from 17-50 wearing this fragrance because of its diversified variety of notes.

No, I never repeat perfumes except Chanel Coco Mademoiselle which I am soon going to buy. And it is not as strong and seductive as Chanel.
