Ponds Gold Radiance Precious Youth Serum Review

Ponds Gold Radiance Precious Youth Serum

Hello Everyone,

I am very busy with work these days and recently my sister visited me with her 5 month old baby so I was busy all day long and needless to say that I missed IMBB a lot. So today when they went out to meet some friends I quickly sat with the laptop to write a review of one of the products I love these days. After finishing the Lakme youth infinity serum I was convinced about adding a serum in my skin care. I didn’t want to repeat on Lakme serum but was not ready to spend more than 1500 on it. So after some considerable amount of research (googling) for budget serums I finally bought the Ponds Gold Radiance Precious Youth Serum.

Ponds Gold Radiance Precious Youth Serum

Price: INR 899 for 30 ml.

What the product Claims: The Pond’s Gold Radiance Precious Youth Serum helps you experience impeccable skin thereby restoring the skin’s nutrients. The effective serum eradicates the age spots and reduces the pigmentation marks at a cosmetic level. This Gold Radiance Precious Youth serum hydrates and softens your skin. This serum from Pond’s diminishes the early signs of ageing and boots the skin’s youthful radiance. Enriched with Vitamin B3 you can experience peppy skin and reduce age spots.

My Experience with Ponds Gold Radiance Precious Youth Serum:

I wanted a serum which has anti aging effects, and for me the first singes of aging are large pores and fine lines around eyes and forehead. This serum has worked a lot on these signs, especially on the pore size reduction. From last 2 years I have started seeing large pores on my nose and areas around. I first though it’s genetical because I saw that on my mom’s skin too, but after reading more I found out that for oily skin this is one of the first signs of aging and with right products we can control it. I have used many toners and face creams till date which claimed to reduce pore size but their effects were not long lasting. However this serum is an exception, its effects last long, full day to be precise. Also in-between for 2-3 days I did not use this serum, still the pore size remained under control.

I am using this serum from last 3 weeks and I was able to see results from day one itself, just after applying it gives a bit of tightness/plumpness to skin which makes fine lines disappear and pores vanished/reduced too. When I use it at night I skip my night cream, and next morning my skin looks glowing and smooth with smaller pores. The fine lines on forehead also appear less. I mostly use it on daytime as base for my BB stick. It gives a very smooth surface to work on and gives the needed moisturization to my combination skin. However I can’t claim if that moisturization will be sufficient for very dry skin.

Ponds Gold Radiance Precious Youth Serum comes in glass bottle with a dropper. The dropper makes it hygienic to use but at the time when one is in a hurry, using the dropper gets a bit painful, considering the glass bottle one need to be very careful. The serum is a thick sticky liquid which has gold particles (gold glittering particles) in it. It has gel kind of consistency and gives matte finish to skin.

Overall I am very satisfied with this product; it gave me great results (specially the pore size reduction). I highly recommend this to everyone looking for a serum with anti aging property without spending too much.

  7. hey ladies, thanks to your encouraging reviews, i bought the serum and have been using it on my face since last 3 days. i noticed a peculiar thing… generally i use rose water as a toner, dabur gulabri to be specific… it works fine on my skin. but if i put on the serum after the toner my face gets very oily, whereas if i use it directly after washing my face ( with ponds pollution control facewash) and towel drying my face, the serum works fine. i have normal skin, little bit to the drier side. is it normal, or something peculiar to me? should i put the serum without putting toner on my face? please guide
