I have been enjoying the wet wipes from various brands and when I got the chance I picked up 3 variants by Pond’s and here are my thoughts on the final one from the range in Luminous Clean. Read on to know how it fared for me.

My Experience with Pond’s Luminous Clean Wet Cleansing Towelettes:

The packaging as you can see is quite typical but still has a nice ‘clean’ feel to it, thanks to the color combination and graphics. The base and the body of the packaging contain the required information about the product. I will get rid of the cardboard base as it is going to make the pack bulky. The stick-on cover has strong glue so the towelettes won’t dry up easily. Overall, a nice packaging without any fuss.

The towelettes are thicker than the ones available in the market; more like the Evening Soothe ones from the same range. Also it is textured and is stronger than the regular wipes. There is a fresh yet typical fragrance to it which is something I am not too fond of as it is slightly synthetic to my nose. But performance of this is just as good; the dull tired skin is alive with one swipe across the face.

There is no sticky/oily residue left behind which is quite common wet wipes. The claim of makeup removal is true up to a certain extent. It removes regular makeup but is not ideal for the long wearing ones. I really do not mind as I do not use them for removing makeup; there are a lot of wipes for that purpose. It has neither dried up my skin nor broken me out so it scores well there too. I am in love with these wipes and wish they come to India soon.
