Today’s review is all about the oily skin variant of Pond’s White Beauty Spot-less + Rosy White Day Cream. Keep reading to know how it fared for me.

My Experience with Pond’s White Beauty Spot-less + Rosy White Day Cream- Oily Skin:

Staring from the packaging of the product, the cream comes in a small white colored plastic tube with pink colored screw on it. The tube comes housed in an outer cardboard packaging. The entire product related information is printed on this outer carton. The tube is quite small and easy to carry while travelling. The cap fits pretty securely making it leak-proof and travel-friendly. The packaging is nice and I did not find any flaws in it.

The cream has a very mild floral fragrance. The smell is so faint and dull, that it does not irritate my nose. Also, the smell is short-lived and fades away after a few minutes of application. The cream is milky white in color and it comes in a thick and creamy texture. It spreads easily onto the skin. This cream comes in different variant for each skin type. I have picked up the oily skin variant.

The formula is creamy, but it settles into a matte finish, once the cream is fully absorbed into the skin. The cream sinks into the skin effortlessly with a little massaging. It feels quite comfortable on the skin and does not feel heavy at all. It does not have a thick, heavy and greasy formula. It almost sets to a matte finish like a mattifying cream. It has a powdery formula as it claims. I find its formulation similar to Nature’s Essence Mattifying Day Cream. It does not leave any oily sheath behind initially for two hours approximately. But later on, I had observed a light oily sheath on my face. But, overall this is a good choice for combination to oily skinned beauties.

This cream is a day cream, which claims to give powdery matte finish, removes pimple/ acne marks and leaves rosy white flawless looking skin. It is enriched with Vitamin B3 that helps to boost natural skin whitening ability. It’s been a couple of weeks that I have been using this cream and I am already getting good results. I have never been a fan of Pond’s skin care products much, but this cream really worked so well on my skin that I fell in love with it. This is not a moisturizing cream, but still it provides enough amount of moisturization and hydration that is essential for my combination skin. It takes away the dryness of the skin and makes it nourished and matte at the same time. My skin was breaking out badly from past a couple of weeks, due to lot of travel and extremely humid weather here in Manila. Hence, whatever I apply to my skin, that used to give me even more breakouts. But this cream turned out as a saviour. There were no new breakouts when I started using this one. My skin did not react to this day cream.

Now comes the marks removal claim. After using this cream for a couple of weeks, I had noticed a slight lightening of my old stubborn acne scars and my skin looks even more clarified now. It helped to even out my skin complexion. My skin started looking fairer than before, but it is still taking time to work on very stubborn and old acne marks. So, overall I am impressed with the results of this cream.
