Pond’s has recently launched a new winter care cream called Pond’s White Beauty Winter Anti-Spot Moisturiser. I’ve used their White Beauty Cream earlier but it didn’t suit my skin. This one has quite a good formula and it suits my sensitive skin too. Now, let’s get into the details.
Price: INR 85 for 23g
My Experience with Pond’s White Beauty Winter Anti-Spot Moisturiser:
Pond’s White Beauty Winter Anti Spot Moisturiser comes in a small plastic jar, just like their original white beauty cream. It also comes with a paper box, which contains detailed information about it.
This 23g jar is very small and perfect to carry around. Inside the jar, there is a small lid, which always gets messy with cream. Otherwise, I really like the packaging even though it is a little unhygienic to use.
The cream has a soft and smooth consistency that glides well on the skin and gets nicely absorbed too. It spreads well and the formula is neither too thin nor too thick. Hence, it is a perfect winter cream. It feels quite comfortable and lightweight. It leaves a non-greasy, non-oily, soft and smooth texture. It doesn’t leave any white cast behind it either. It doesn’t have that patchy feeling like their original white beauty cream.
Since this is a winter moisturizer it provides a good amount of hydration to the skin. It makes the skin soft, smooth and healthy, and it also heals dryness. On my oily skin, it works well and keeps the skin moisturized for long. Also, it doesn’t make skin oily, which is another good part about the cream. Dry skin might require a reapplication but I do not feel the need.
Now coming to its other claims, it gives a fresh and bright glow to the skin. It definitely does not behave like other cold creams, hence does not make the skin dull. It removes dullness and gives a healthy glow to the complexion. I don’t believe in its fairness claim and you shouldn’t either. It can’t provide any fair look to the skin.
In my opinion, a cream can’t make you fair; it can just provide a bright glow, which this cream does. It makes the skin clear by lightening spots but it can’t reduce them completely. It works very slowly on dark spots.
Overall, it is a good winter cream for normal to oily skin as it provides a fresh, bright look and moisturized skin. Also, it has a nice fresh smell to it. It also has SPF 15, which is good enough for daytime. Though the SPF level is not enough it is still good enough for the skin. It works well for the price you pay and makes the skin soft and smooth.
