Today, I am going to review a kajal pencil that has been my staple for some months. Since, I was more of a liquid liner and gel liner person, this has made me experiment with more dramatic looks, mostly smoky eyes. Please read ahead to know more about the product.

The kajal pen comes in a cardboard box (I lost it during shifting house). The pen has the kajal tip at one end and on the other end there is a smudger tip, which makes smoky eyes creation a dream come true.
My Experience with Pop Beauty Inky Purple Kajal Pen:
If kajal pens were so easy to use, I would have used them more often, that is what, I always felt. I have been a lover of eye makeup and be it eyeshadows, mascara or eyeliner. I have to have them, at least one of them, if I have no time at hand.
During my younger years my mom used to apply homemade kajal and as I grew up it became a distant memory. I started using my first liquid liner as the basic one available from lakme. I loved the way it used to draw sharp and distant lines, but sometimes, I had bad luck with poor brushes that were kind of frayed. Then, I switched to other, then another and then more other ones. Finally the gel liners were something that impressed me beyond awe.
These days the gel liners have become more user friendly as they come in pencil forms But, the only drawback with the long lasting gel liners is the margin of error is pretty narrow and corrections of a fully done face makeup can be very expensive.
Today, I have a kajal pencil that comes with an inbuilt smudger and is dark purple in color the name of the shade is Inky Purple. The shade is so dark, almost as black. But, on keen attention I could make out, it was not black. The texture of the pencil is very creamy, which is quite unlike kajal pencils. The smudger does the job of creating smoky eye looks, quite entertaining. The longevity of the product is somewhere between 3-5 hours depending on the weather as well as lid oiliness. There is no smell in the product and it has not been tested on animals.
Pros of Pop Beauty Inky Purple Kajal Pen:
- Vivid colors.
- Right texture.

- In built smudger.
Cons of Pop Beauty Inky Purple Kajal Pen:
- Longevity could be better.
