Post-Ramadan Detox Diet

Hi beauties!

Eid Mubarak to all of you 🙂
Hope you’ll are having a fantastic weekend 😀
Now that Ramadan is over, it’s time to get back to routine after eating all the goodies like kebabs, jalebis, firni, biryani, etc. So, here I am with a sample diet which will help you detox and get rid of all the unwanted weight you put on thanks to those devilish delicious foods. Your timings and the amount of Food/Drinks can be flexible but be sure to keep your diet on point.

Post Ramadan Detox Diet (1)

Wake Up :-
Consume 1 liter of Water (with any medication you need to have on an empty stomach, like I have Thyroxine for my Thyroid).

After 20 Minutes :-
1 cup of Green Tea with/without 2-3 drops of Lemon dipped in Hot Water 2-3 times max.
1 glass of Vegetable Juice (No Fruits please).
The vegetable juice can be of Tomato with Carrots or Doodhi/Lauki with Amla or Beetroot with Carrots, etc. Just combine two veggies whichever ones you like.

Post Ramadan Detox Diet (2)

Breakfast (After 10 Minutes) :-
2 Egg Whites Omelet without/with 1 Brown/Multigrain Bread & 1 cup of Coffee/Tea with Slim Milk.
OR
1 bowl of Cornflakes/Muesli/Wheat Bran with Slim Milk.
OR
2 Boiled Egg Whites (No Yolk please) without/with 1 Brown/Multigrain Bread with 1 cup of Coffee/Tea.
(These are just ideas. You can always go for a low-fat, low-oil breakfast).

After 1 Hour :-
1 glass of Water.

After 1 Hour :-
1 Fruit (Avoid Mangoes & Bananas).

After 30 Minutes :-
1 cup of Green Tea with/without 2-3 drops of Lemon (the tea bag should be dipped into the water 2-3 times max!).

After 30 Minutes :-
1 glass of Water.

Lunch (After 30 Minutes) :-
1-2 (Jowar/Wheat/Nachni/Bajra) Rotis with 1 bowl of Vegetable (please keep the oil on the lower side) and 1 bowl of Dal.
OR
1-2 (Jowar/Wheat/Nachni/Bajra) Rotis with 1 bowl of Vegetable and 1 piece of Chicken with/without gravy.
OR
1 small bowl of (Brown/White) Rice with 1 bowl of Dal or Chicken Curry.
(These are just ideas. You can always go for anything you eat but please keep it low-fat and with less oil).

After 1 Hour :-
1 glass of Water.

After 30 Minutes :-
1 cup of Green Tea with/without 2-3 drops of Lemon (the tea bag should be dipped into the water 2-3 times max!).

After 1 Hour :-
Coffee/Tea (Slim Milk please) with 1-2 Marie/Monaco/Cream Cracker Biscuits.

After 1 Hour :-
1 Fruit (Avoid Mangoes & Bananas).

After 30 Minutes :-
1 glass of Water.

After 30 Minutes :-
1 bowl of Cornflakes/Muesli/Wheat Bran.
OR
1 Vegetable Sandwich with Brown/Multrigrain Bread without Butter & Cheese.
OR
1 bowl of Sukha Bhel without Potato, Sev and Puris.
OR
1 bowl of Poha with less oil.

Post Ramadan Detox Diet

After 1 Hour :-
1 cup of Green Tea with/without 2-3 drops of Lemon.

After 1 Hour :-
1 glass of Water.

Dinner (After 30 Minutes) :-
1-2 bowls of Soup and Salad.
OR
1 bowl of Vegetable with 1 bowl of (low-fat) Curd.
OR
1 bowl of Soup and Salad with 1 piece of Chicken.
OR
1 (Jowar/Wheat/Nachni/Bajra) Roti with 1 bowl of Dal/1 piece of Chicken with/without Veggies.
(These are just ideas. You can always go for anything you eat but please keep it low-fat and with less oil).

1 Hour Before Sleeping :-
1 glass of Water.

Please Note :-
Whenever you are hungry, you can always munch on vegetables like Cucumbers, Carrots, and Beetroots.
Try to sleep on a stomach that’s been filled 1.5 hours before.
Exercise daily for better results.
Have your multivitamins after breakfast or lunch for better skin and hair.
Consume the vegetable juice on an empty stomach.
So here you go guys, my very own tried and tested diet to help you detox your body after all the fried and sugary foods you’ve consumed in the past month 🙂

    1. If you read the diet properly, you’ll know that it’s not a fruit or water detox diet that you’ll have to stop it after a while. . You can continue with it for as long as you like because it is a combination of carbohydrates, protein, (the good) fat and the essential nutrients 🙂

  1. Hi Shamail, just wanted to know when in the morning do I need to start this diet as I’m missing some or the other 🙁 need the end time too
