Purederm Age Defying Collagen Mask Review

Purederm Age Defying Collagen Mask Review

Hello girls,

It’s time for the review of another face mask from Purederm. I bought so many Purederm and MJ face and hair masks together some days ago and now will review them one by one. While I am so impressed by the Purederm hair masks, their face masks are just average. Montagne Jeunesse face and hair masks are both great as usual, let’s get started with the review.

Rs. 55 for one sheet mask.

Product Description:

Blended with collagen, vitamin E, green tea extracts and tropical fruits to nourish your skin. Provides intense hydration to help reduce facial lines and signs of ageing. Effective for replenishing and nourishing.

Aqua (water), glycerin, acacia Senegal extract, hydroxyethylcellulose, betaglucan, phyto collagen, hydrogenated castor oil, allantoin, camellia sinensis extract, mulberry root extract, alanine, proline, glycine, sorbitol, arginine, glutamic acid, panthenol, arbutin, cabbage rose water, papaya fruit extract, phenoxyethanol, disodium EDTA, methylparaben, parfum.

How To Use:

1) Thoroughly cleanse face and dry face.
2) Take out and unfold the mask and apply it on your face.
3) Wear the mask for 15-20 minutes and peel off slowly from the edges.

My Experience with Purederm Age Defying Collagen Mask:

As I am in my 20s, I purchased this mask for my mum so that she can use it before going to some function, etc.  So, I am sharing my mum’s experience here.  She cleansed her face, applied this mask and let it dry for 20 minutes. The problem with Purederm masks is that they do not dry. They just sit on the face for 20 minutes. The face mask is filled with so much liquid that the liquid keeps dripping down from the face.  What is the fun of peel off mask if we cannot peel them off our face just like the dead layer of skin? Apart from this, the face mask did make her skin soft and supple. With so many natural extracts to boast of, it definitely makes your skin feel better than before. The anti-ageing claims I am not too sure of because she just used one mask, maybe if we keep using these masks continuously, they will help in anti-ageing to an extent.

The overall experience was that the mask is good for just a boost of moisture for the skin and it does make the skin smooth and soft but does nothing extraordinary in terms of radiance or brightening or cleaning the skin. An average mask which you can try for the novelty factor but I have now bought the Forest essentials soundarya face ubtan which both me and my mum have used and loved.

Pros of Purederm Age Defying Collagen Mask:

  • Makes skin soft and supple.
  • Easy to use mask.
  • Use and throw pack, so no guilt of stocking too many products.
  • Gives a boost of moisture to the skin.
  • Very cheap.
  • Contains many fruit extracts and collagen.

Cons of Purederm Age Defying Collagen Mask:

  • Does nothing extraordinary.
  • Has too much of liquid, so the liquid keeps dripping when you put the face mask on.
  • Doesn’t dry, so no actual peel off!
  • I don’t know about the anti-ageing claims.

Do I Recommend/Will I Repurchase Purederm Age Defying Collagen Mask?

No, because Purederm has some great masks apart from this and their hair masks are also great. If you really want to try good face masks, try Montagne Jeunesse masks. They are amazing.

IMBB Rating:

3/5 for the moisture it provides.
