My Experience with Purederm Ginkgo Eye Puffiness Minimizing Patches:

The packaging of the product is nice and travel friendly. It comes in a plastic pouch with the all details printed at the back. Packaging is absolutely hygienic and I do not have any complaints about the packaging. This pouch contains two sleek plastic pouches. Each of them carries one pair of eye patch. These pouches also bear usage instructions and other necessary details at the back. Each eye patch comes placed on a clear plastic sheet. These can be easily removed from the plastic sheet and are very easy to apply. All the patches have a clear, sticky gel on one side and another side is cottony soft. You need to apply the shiny gel side on your under eye area. Always try to put it in on the under eye area in just one go to make it work better.

I have been encountering dark circles and puffiness under my eyes. Since I have used the dark circle reducer patches from this brand, which worked satisfactorily for me, I was quite keen to try these eye patches as well. One thing I absolutely love about this product is that it is fragrance free. The Purederm dark circles reducer patches have a really annoying chemical fragrance.

The shape of eye patches is designed to fit the under eye area nicely. It perfectly sticks to the skin in one go and I continue doing my routine work with these patches on. The brand suggests keeping it on for 30 minutes or so but I find it quite annoying to keep it on for this long, but still, I somehow manage to keep it for the suggested time and then gently peel it off. It is pretty safe for sensitive skin. It does not cause any skin allergies or skin irritation.

Now, coming to the main part for which these patches are made for. These eye patches turned out to be pretty useless. They did absolutely nothing. I could not find any difference in the skin under the eyes. Neither does it reduce puffiness nor does it provide any soothing effect. It does provide little hydration to the skin, and that is what it does! Overall, this is totally a useless product and does not live up to the claims.

Pros of Purederm Ginkgo Eye Puffiness Minimizing Patches:

  • Good packaging.
  • Fragrance free.
  • Sticks to the skin nicely.
  • Does not irritate the eye area.
  • Gives a kind of soothing effect to the skin.
  • Provides a bit of hydration.

Cons of Purederm Ginkgo Eye Puffiness Minimizing Patches:

  • Keeping it on for 30 minutes is a pain.
  • Does nothing to reduce puffiness.
  • Does not live upto its claims.
  • Useless product.
