Purederm Refreshing Foot Deodoriser Peppermint Review

Purederm Refreshing Foot Deodoriser Peppermint Review

Purederm is a Korean brand and they make budget-friendly face masks as well as hair and foot care products. I bought this Purederm refreshing foot deodoriser from the “Forever 21” USA website. Unfortunately, we do not have a “Forever 21” website here in Australia. I also bought a bunch of face masks, but only one of them was impressive for me, others did not do anything for my skin. When I ordered this foot deodoriser, I was actually looking for a foot gel, which was good for tired feet, I was not actually looking for a “deodoriser” as my feet/shoes never get odours. This is because I use refresher for my shoes, which kills germs which causes odour regularly.

Since this product contains peppermint, I wanted to give my feet a cooling treat. This sachet was lying in my closet for a couple of months, to be frank, I even forget that I bought this 😉

Since there has been heavy rain in Australia for the past eight days at least, with flooding and all that, my precious shoes along with my feet did get wet quite a lot, when I stepped on puddles of rain water. It was inevitable, trust me. I was actually down with a cold and was looking for a tub of Vicks vapourub, when I found this treasure hidden in my closet.

Product Description:

Get cool and refreshed feet. Exclusively formulated with teatree, peppermint and Eucalyptus oil with methanol to protect the feet from micro organisms that cause foot odour. It absorbs quickly into the skin and has the added benefit of cooling and refreshing feet. This natural deodoriser actively dehydrates, invigorates&nourishes the skin, leaving your feet dry and odour free.

Price:

USD 1.80 (excludes shipping) from Forever 21 website for 25 ml.

Ingredients

Key Ingredients:

  • Peppermint oil-which is a cooling agent.
  • Tea tree oil, which is an antifungal agent.
  • Eucalyptus leaf oil, to give a cooling and deodorising effect.

My Take on Purederm Refreshing Foot Deodoriser Peppermint:

I first cleansed my feet with the Crabtree and Evelyn foot smoother (which is a foot scrub actually).  After washing off and drying, I applied one third of this sachet on both feet and massaged it well, focusing on the area between toes, etc.  It felt cool immediately and best part is that it is a light gel and is thus not sticky. The cooling effect was there for at least 20 minutes. It refreshes the skin and has a light peppermint fragrance. It is colourless.  The gel dries quickly and you will be able to wear your shoes quickly, instead of waiting for it to dry. The gel practically evaporates and gives you a clean, deodorised and refreshed feeling at the same time.  I initially planned to get two uses out of this sachet, but ended up getting three. I used it initially and after a couple of days when I was using it, and hubby came along and wanted to try as well (for some reason, hubby is interested in foot care products even though he is not interested in the other stuff I buy for him), so both of us used it again. The packaging is kind of cute, it comes in the shape of a foot, but similar to Montagne Jeunesse packaging, but this one looks more sophisticated.

Swatch

It did give a good treat to my tired skin and refreshed my skin as well. However, I cannot comment on the deodorising effect. I firmly believe that continuous care should be taken of the feet and shoes to prevent foot odour, and a sachet of foot deodoriser cannot be of much help if you don’t take proper care.

Pros of Purederm Refreshing Foot Deodoriser Peppermint:

  • Refreshes skin and gives a cooling effect for at least 20 minutes.
  • One sachet can be used thrice.
  • Was quite cheap at USD 1.80 for three uses.
  • Does not give a sticky feeling, evaporates quickly without drying skin.
  • Easily available through online sites and eBay.

Cons of Purederm Refreshing Foot Deodoriser Peppermint:

  • Comes in a sachet packaging and it is difficult to store after opening it.

IMBB Rating:

4.75/5

Will I Repurchase Purederm Refreshing Foot Deodoriser Peppermint?

This is the only product from Purederm that satisfied me totally.  I will repurchase this, but I wish it came in a tube.

    1. Hi Nupur,

I like the purederm brightening korean herb mask. However I didnt like the strawberry yogurt mask and the collagen mask I used.I have a new sachet of illuminating arbutin mask, will use it and review it for you.

However, out of all these I like this foot deodoriser.Cannot expect that much of a result with purederm face masks.Only thing is , they are pocket friendly.
