Purederm Ultra Hydrating Shea Butter Mask – Coconut Review

Purederm Ultra Hydrating Shea Butter Mask – Coconut Review

Hi IMBBians,

This is my first-ever Purederm product to use.  I have always wanted to try these masks, but they are not available in our city, and the variants I have wanted are always out of stock online, but this time, when I went for cosmetic shopping in a local shop in our city, I was amazed to see these masks and some other brands too, which are new arrivals in our city.  I think this cosmetic industry is reaching every corner of our country, this is a good thing, right? I picked up this variant because I like to put coconut on my face, as it has de-pigmenting properties and I like using shea butter in my skin care.  Read on further to know how it worked on me.

My Experience with Purederm Ultra Hydrating Shea Butter Mask – Coconut:

When I first saw the mask, I checked for the manufacturing and expiry date because I have read a lot of reviews on IMBB where they have mentioned that their masks had dried up when they opened their packet, I didn’t want that to happen with me.  My product was manufactured around 5 months back.  I love how colorful the pack is and we can get an idea about the color, texture and consistency of the mask by looking at the packing itself.  The mask is white in color, a little bit thick in consistency, and the smell is nice and mild.

I had high expectations from this mask as I was using it for the first time, but this disappointed me a little bit. The mask is a pain to apply as it wouldn’t move smoothly on the skin without an effort.  I kept it on my face for about half an hour, it didn’t get dry completely within this time, so no stretchy feel.  Later, I washed off with plenty of water, gently massaging to remove it.  I felt my skin a bit hydrated and moisturized, but nothing more.  Of course, it didn’t claim to do other things. I expected a bit of brightening, but no, it didn’t happen.  Overall, this is an average mask, can skip this.
