Quick Party Beauty Tips

Seen that Lakme ad,”no touch ups” well I am not that kinda girl, a qucik call for a party night needs some quick touch ups to go from plain to glam, here is what you can enhance on an already done eye and lip makeup, some quick touch ups at the right place and you are glam to go! Take a look!

eye liner glitter

Glam your eyeliner:
Add a line of shimmer like so, this will brighten eyes and get you party ready!

Curl your lashes:
Don’t have a curler handy, take a metal spoon and curl like so, add layers of mascara and done!

Smoke it up:
Use your reglar creamy liner on the upper and lower lash line, use a stiff brush to smudge gently and follow your eye shape or smoke upwards, set it with black shadow if possible.

Get the glow:
Mix one part foundation with one part illuminator, and then use your fingertips to massage it all over your face.  This will make you shine through under the party lights!

Flush it on:
Use a deep berry blush over your day blush.use a fluffy brush to swirl it in small, circular motions over the apples of your cheeks and back toward your hairline.

Camouflage:
Cover up any pimples by applying a yellow-based cover-up to counteract the redness. Use a concealer brush to pat it on precisely, then blend with your ring finger.

Contrast:
Go for contrasting lids and tips. If you are wearing a bold eye or lips, match it with a neat crisp white nail polish, you won’t have to worry about your manicure matching your clothes.

Shine:
Mix a liquid bronzer with a body cream, then massage it into your arms and legs.

Contour:
Hide the extra jaw line with the contour used in the shape of a 3 on the sides of the face and done! This will ensure you photograph well.

falsies

Falsies:
This is a sure shot way to look glamorous, choose the right wispies and add them on for the party, this is sure to get you noticed.

Mattify:
Dust loose powder on the t-zone so you dont shine in the photographs.

Mutitask:
Use a color stick as an eye shadow, blush and lipstick. You dont really have the time to find the right shadow blush and lipstick, use the stick as a stain.

Red and gold:
Master metallics on the eyes and use a gold and berry on the eyes, pair it with red lips for the night.

metallic eyes

Enhance your cleavage:
Dust a shimmery body powder over the tops of your breasts, first apply a body lotion so the powder has something to cling to.

Brighten up:
Use a white or neutral eye pencil on the waterline for bigger eyes illusion, use a gold on the lid and a darker red berry in the socket of the eye to brighten peepers.

Cool it:
When you are done setting your hair, flip your head over, and aim the blow dryer nozzle around randomly for a few minutes on the cool shot mode on the dryer. This will set the look and give you volume when you flip the head over.

Dress up your hair:
A glittery accessory adds instant glamour to any hairstyle. Use anything you fancy.

Hands down:
Mist your fragrance on your palms so that your touch will release a small amount of scent throughout the night.

Shave:
If you don’t have enough time for shaving your legs, just smooth baby oil onto your legs before shaving.

Scented hair:
Put a small amount of an oil-based fragrance on your fingertips and then run them through your hair, honestly I spritz perfume on to the hair brush and run a final time through hair all the time, just for some extra boost.
