How are you doing? I hate the fact that weekends go by so fast unlike weekdays. Last weekend has been a lazy one for me, stayed at home all day watching old movies feeling sleepy. What did you do? Let me know in the comments below.

Eyelash curlers are a must have accessory for me. They give a chance to transform my straight lashes into fluttery ones. I came across this beauty in a makeup store. Though there were many from the same brand, I decided to pick one up. When it comes to eyelash curlers, one needs to careful of the eye shape. It is important that it fits right and does not hurt you at any point.

Price: INR 350.

Product Claims: Our eyelash curler is a beauty must have. Made from strong carbon steel, the non-slip silicon pads gently lift and curl each lash without crimping or breaking, leaving a beautiful natural curl. Includes 2 spare silicon pads.

Packaging:It comes in plastic tear-to-open pack with two extra silicon pads. Like most of them, it is a travel friendly one and can be easily stored in your cute makeup pouches.

My Take on QVS Eyelash Curler – 10-1051:

Every eyelash curler has a different design for the look of your lashes. This one is for easy and natural curl and does exactly the same. It won’t give you that extra curl, which is fine when going out for work and a day look. I did not quite get it right for the first few times, but eventually you develop your own way to use it.

One thing the sales girl pointed out was, this can break your lashes if not used correctly, so you might want to be careful. The other thing that I learnt was that, if it hurts while using, you are doing it wrong. Be careful to hold all your lashes while closing the curler and not your skin.

This one curls my lashes in around 20 seconds. I sometimes use it alone without following with mascara and it holds my lashes up for around 2-3 hours. Some people recommend using it with Vaseline to hold the curl through the day, never tried it though. This curler does its job fairly well without much hassle. The thing I like the most, that it did not break my lashes. Like all eyelash curlers. this needs to used before the mascara and not after.

Though the thought of using a metal product on your eyes may look scary to some (including my sister), this is a really a great one. One thing that you need to remember while using it that it should be clean. Our eye area is sensitive and we do not want to take chances with it. I always wipe it with my makeup remover to get rid of any eyeliner or eye shadow residue that sticks on it.

Overall, I am quite happy with this one.

I did not find any con, the only thing is that it did not give my lashes that extra curl, but that’s not what it is designed for.

No, I have yet to try many from either the same or other brand.
