Rati’s Top 56 Skincare and Makeup Favourites 2016

Hi Everyone, 🙂

I made an all time’s favourite list of Rati’s Top 200 products a while back. A reader requested me to make a list of my favourite products from 2016. I have tried so many amazing products this year. I would be reviewing many more before the year ends. So may be by December end I’d add more products and republish the list. But at the moment I definitley want to share this list with you all. I would absolutely love to hear your favourites as well. 🙂 This list is not in any particular order. Just going by my stash and listing things out for you all. 🙂 Also, all the products are linked to their original reviews. So you can click the titles to read detailed reviews of all the products. 🙂 I am so excited to share so much more with you all! 🙂

1. Chantecaille Loose Powder : It is one of the finest loose powders I have in my kit. One of my most amazing discoveries of this year was this brand.
2. Chantecaille Anti Smog Tinted Moisturiser : Almost finished using this one. Liked it so much for everyday wear this year around.
3. Holika Holika Pig-Nose clear black head peeling massage gel : One of the cutest nose scrubs ever. Yet to find a replacement.
4. L’oreal Telescopic Mascara : One of the nicest thing about this mascara is that the wand is so thin and it really gets to the roots of the lashes and coats them.
5. Kiehl’s Avocado Under Eye Cream : Almost about to finish it. Definitley repurchasing. Took me time to like it and now I am absolutely addicted to this one.
6. Clarins Lip Oil : One of the best lip balms ever.
7. Makeup Forever Brush 100 : Makes your foundation / concealer flawless.
8. Makeup Forever Brush 106 : I use this foundation brush a lot for applying foundation. It’s wide flat shape makes it quite unique.
9. Bobbi Brown blush Pretty Coral : I used Bobbi brown blushes so much this year. They were definitley my top favourites for 2016. Travelled so much with them. They are beautiful.
10. MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipstick : I used them so much – mixing and matching, applying on their own and even adding a bit in my classic lipsticks every now and then.
11. Forest Essentials Tranquil Sleep : I’d probably have to buy this for life. 😛
12. Kylie Lip Kit 22 : Still enjoy using this one. the color is really unique. Always fetch me compliments. 🙂
13. Forest Essentials Deeply Nourishing Hand Wash Mandarin & Neem Review : I absolutely enjoyed using this one. Might repurchase. The bottle lasted me for months.
14. Soap & Glory Smooch Operator Lip Butter Balm Review : Literally one of my favourite lip balms from this year. Love the name for sure. 😛
15. Laura Mercier Extreme Neutrals Eyeshadow Palette : I think if there is any neutral palette I used till death this year, this is the one. and it is going to be like that for long. 😀
16. MAC Heroine Lipstick : I think I got addicted to this one for a while. I must pull it out again though. 🙂
17. Estée Lauder Advanced Night Micro Cleansing Balm : this is almost getting over and it is definitley on my repurchase list. Really really like this. Every every last bit of it these days
18. Byredo Parfums Gypsy Water EDP : This perfume is like a memory. Definitley picking it up again. 🙂
19. Aerin Ikat Jasmine Eau De Parfum Spray : This was a real treat. I want to explore more from Aerin’s perfume range.
20. Laura Mercier Flawless Contouring Palette : Absolutely loved the texture and colors in this palette. This is one palette that got me addicted to cream contouring. 🙂
21. Jurlique Purely Age Defying Firming Face Oil : It was hands down my favourite skin care oil this year. Just the best after Clarins Blue Orchid Oil.
22. Inglot HD Lip Tint Matte 15 : One of my favourite liquid lipsticks from 2016. Would def try more shades from the range this year.
23. Mario Badescu Drying Lotion I would panic if I am not able to find it again.
24. Brush Egg was one of my favourite discoveries ever! 😀
25. Sugar Cosmetics Stroke of a Genius Kohl : I think I must have finished using 2-3 pencils for sure. I need more of them for sure. 😀
26. Christian Louboutin Velvet Matte Lipstick Zoulou : Fav brown lipstick ever!
27. Anastasia Beverly Hills Peach Nectar Illuminator : I need to start wearing more of it. It is so pretty. I guess I’d get more use out of it from in the coming year.
28. Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick Walk of Shame : I really like Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks in general. They have an amazing formula.
29. Eve Lom Cleanser : I finished using a whole tub of it. Need I say more? 🙂
30. Charlotte Tilbury The Rebel Colour Coded Eyeshadows : Crazy gorgeous. I have to review one more palette from here range and that’s stunning too. Def check these out if you get a chance.
31. Kiehl’s Powerful Line Reducing Concentrate : Absolutely loved using this one. Might repurchase it as well.
32. Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask: I never want this to get over.
33. Christian Louboutin Rouge Louboutin 001 Silky Satin Lip Colour : Love wearing this red! Plus the packaging is to die for!
34. Artis Brushes : What a lovely inclusion to the kit.
35. Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Savage Rose : This shade is everything. The prettiest warm red.
36. Cover FX Cream Concealer : A brilliant concealer and something I’d always repurchase.
37. Fabindia Almond Oil : This would find a place in my bathroom every so often.
