R+CO Death Valley Dry Shampoo Review

Hello Everyone!

Today, I have a dry shampoo to review from R+Co with a unique name, Death Valley Dry shampoo. While I did not know what was the logic is behind such a deadly name, but I found this one good for my oily scalp. Later I realized, Death Valley is a famous landscape and the dry shampoo is named after it. Let us take a brief look at the product characteristics.

R+CO Death Valley Dry Shampoo

Product Description:
Not your granny’s dry shampoo. DEATH VALLEY is the quickest way to get volume and body into your hair. This dry shampoo will do more than clean up your hair. It will have your ’do taking after the famous landscape from which it draws its name: big, beautiful, and a little wild. A few spritzs of this spray zap excess oil, give hair serious volume and body, and add some too-great-to-be-tamed texture.

$29

My Experience with R+CO Death Valley Dry Shampoo:

The packaging of R+CO Death Valley Dry Shampoo is just as regular as a dry shampoo is with a light weight bottle and a spray nozzle. But, the imprint is unique with Death Valley landscape in the background. The bottle carries all necessary information and it is travel safe.

Moving on to the product, this dry shampoo when sprayed on the hand acquires a whitish cast on drying, but that is not the case, when sprayed on the hair. You have to spray it from a distance of 10-12 inches on the hair and then mix into the scalp with finger and believe me, it does not show up at all.

A dry shampoo is the best hack for ‘no hair wash today’ days. I have a really oily scalp and I am compelled to wash my hair every day. I know it is really harmful, yet over the years I have realized that I have no other way out.

For the days when I snap shut my alarm in the morning and wake up screaming, this is a savoir. R+CO Death Valley Dry Shampoo absorb oil from the scalp in an invisible manner. Just a minute after application, my hair feel like it has just been washed and dried freshly. It gives instant volume to my hair and this makes it a multi purpose product as when I need a bun from my thin hair, R+CO Death Valley Dry Shampoo is the best assistant.

It contains a sweet, floral and pleasant fragrance ( R+CO Rosy Eyed signature Fragrance), which is an added benefit. R+CO Death Valley Dry Shampoo is cruelty free and a vegan product. It does not contain talc and is a silica based dry shampoo.

  1. Seeing a good dry shampoo review after a while here. It’s pricey though. Also, intrigued by the name, I am gonna spend many hours reading about Death Valley now! :/
