Get Ready And Going In Minutes…
Yes. It is possible. Even for women. How many times have you put off the alarm in the morning thinking you will get up in just 5 minutes only to wake up half an hour late? A lot? Same here. But should your beauty sleep come in the way of you starting a day looking your fab self? NO! I can’t leave for college without a good meal for breakfast so those 10 minutes I absolutely have to spend at the dinning table. Other than that there are days when I don’t need more than 10 minutes to get ready after I shower. Here are a few things I do to save time when I wake up to realize that my first class will be over in a few minutes:

Statement Jewelry
A big piece of necklace or chunky earrings can instantly up your glam quotient. The best thing about these, especially statement necklaces is that no matter what color, size or shape they are, they go perfectly well with all your wardrobe staples- t shirts, camisoles, kurtis, even formal shirts. Not only this, the same statement necklace when paired with a tshirt will look completely different than when paired with a plain kurti. What better way of utilising all those simple pieces of garments in your wardrobe that are just too plain or bland to wear alone! In my opinion, statement jewellery (and platform wedges) is the best investment of this season.
So just put on that bright orange necklace with your plain white tshirt and you are good to go.
Chappals and Flats
Flats are footwear staples for every girl’s wardrobe. There is nothing more comfortable and suitable for summers than chappals when you don’t have the time to bother yourself with zippers and tie ups. It takes only seconds to slip them on and they let you show off your cute nail paint. They are very versatile so you can team them up with Indian as well as western outfits.
For a more professional look, spare a jiffy to slip on and flaunt these insanely cute flats:
Embrace your Bed Head
Yes its very spring. Just sprtiz some anti frizz hairspray and let your hair be. There is something very classy and very chic about messy hair. For longer hair, you can tie up your hair in a messy bun on your way to work/college or wherever you are going.
Alexa Chung is the queen of pulling off messy hair with every look. Jessica Biel with messy hair on red carpet and Mischa Barton with messy bun. Don’t even have that much time? Or messy hair too casual for work? Just put on a gorgeous scarf around your neck to distract attention away from your hair. And while on the way to work tie up your hair in a bun as neatly as possible.
Jessica Alba, Rachel Bilson, Taylor Swift with messy hair and scarves

Pick up that Watch
A good looking piece of time wear takes your look to a different level. Depending on where you are headed to, you can choose from a simple and classic black leather strap watch to a blinding bejewelled watch. What is best about sparing a few seconds to pick up that watch is that you just have to throw it in your bag as you can wear it on your way to work or even after you have reached there.
Dior studded watch, CK classic black watch and Tissot white strap watch
One-Minute Makeup
Stuff your makeup bag with make up products that do double duty. Tinted moisturisers, lip stains that work equally well as blushers and coloured lip balms are best friends of late risers. Got extra 30 seconds? Use quick drying mascara to instantly open up your eyes.
OK. Now start running..

One of the best tips I have read and tried and tested to be true (when in rush most mornings)….is to do eyeliner first after applying base on your eyes…..then mascara…..after I get ready (with work clothes, earrings/scarf)….then I do eye shadows, a gentle sweep of champagne color or two-colors like shimmer and matt combo on eyelid and crease……so just in case, I am not able to do eye shadows, I still have base done.
nice 1 aashima..
Thanks everyone 🙂
