Real Chemistry Luminous 3-Minute Peel Review

Hello every one!

Today, I have a very interesting product to review that met my expectations in both packaging and performance wise and is also very appealing in both categories. I am going to review Real Chemistry Luminous 3-Minute Peel for IMBB today. Let us see, what is special about this peel that makes it different from other exfoliating products.

Real Chemistry Luminous 3-Minute Peel

Product Description:
The peel is a protein peel. It removes large amount of excess, dead epidermal cells in seconds. As the synergistic blend of ingredients is gently massaged into the skin, solids form under the fingertips. These are a combination of the peel’s protein-binding ingredients and epidermal protein. 99.5% of consumers who tested the product and have experience with dermabrasion and acid peels, reported that the Real Chemistry Luminous 3-Minute Peel was as effective or more effective, but did not irritate the skin like other methods. This protein peel leaves the skin velvety soft and resurfaced after just one use. Resurfacing is recommended at least once per week for most skin types.

How to Use:
This is not a mask. Cleanse skin and leave slightly damp. Spread gel thinly and quickly over your forehead, cheeks, chin, neck, and decollete. Quickly begin massaging these areas in a circular motion with slightly damp hands using light to moderate pressure. After 15-20 seconds, solids should form under the fingertips. This means the peel is activating correctly as the gel is now combining with your dead skin (proteins). Massage for 2-3 minutes or until all of the gel has combined with dead skin. Cleanse area again. To save time, try using the peel in the shower! Just pat your face and hands mostly dry and the use the peel as directed.  Upon completion, turn back to the shower head to rinse.  The water pressure will also assist with removal of the tiny solids from fine facial hair.

Ingrown hair(face, bikini): Daily right before shaving(small amount, small area).

Acne: Peel 2-3 times per week.

Hyperpigmentation: Peel 1-2 times per week.

Rosacea: Peel 1 time per week.

Dry Skin: Peel 1 time per week.

Oily Skin: Peel twice per week.

Sensitive Skin:  Peel once every 10 days.

My Take on Real Chemistry Luminous 3-Minute Peel:

Real Chemistry Luminous 3-Minute Peel 4

The packaging is a heart stealer. Real chemistry has given special attention to make it appealing, so your hands grab it in a glimpse, when you spot it. It is simply not ignorable. The chocolate brown theme of the card-box and tube is unique. The card box is labelled with all necessary and detailed information. The tube has a perfect nozzle that dispenses a very controlled amount of peel solution and the screw cap closes tight making it travel friendly.

Real Chemistry defines it as a protein peel and claims it to be mainly formulated with water and glycerine. A year back, I did an article, “3 Quick DIYs Using Glycerine and Rose Water For Winters” in which, I had mentioned the same trick that when water, glycerine and sugar is combined together, it makes a great luminous peel scrub.

Anyways, coming to the product, Real Chemistry Luminous 3-Minute Peel is basically an exfoliating product. It is not a mask peel. You need to apply and rub it in circular motions on slightly damp skin and it starts forming solids in few minutes. Well honestly, I have a slight doubt that these solids are just the product particles or dead skin mixed with it. A little set back while rinsing is that these particles get entangled with facial hair and are bit painful to rinse. However, once you are done with rinsing, underneath it reveals soft and smooth skin. The pores appear smaller and tighter and the skin looks fresh. A little improvement in complexion, removal of dry patches and rejuvenated skin were the obvious effects that I noticed instantly. Also, I felt that on the days that I used this peel, my t-zone stays shine free for longer periods of time. Overall, this is a good exfoliant. If you like non-granular type of exfoliants, this is the ideal one. Little amount goes a long way in case of Real Chemistry Luminous 3-Minute Peel. The website displays very detailed information about how to use it and if you intend to buy then take a look for sure. The only consideration is the hefty price you pay for this product.

Would I Recommend/ Repurchase of Real Chemistry Luminous 3-Minute Peel?
I am confused that whether to recommend it or not. It is a decent product yet the normal scrubs do the same job if picked up from good brands. So, the price tag is mainly the reason that I have deducted the marks. The choice is left to you, if you can afford and invest in it. Have a nice day.
