Reebok Reeshield Sweat and Waterproof Active Sun Screen with SPF 40

Off late, I have been using sunscreen religiously irrespective of the weather, place and climatic conditions. I use it generously all over my body, especially the exposed parts like feet, arms and face. I have oily facial skin and normal to dry body skin. Due to this reason, I use different sunscreens for face, hands, and feet. I need mattifying sunscreen lotions for my face, hence I swear by Lotus. For hands, I use something that is of thick consistency and makes my skin soft and supple without making it greasy. For feet, I need something which is again of thick consistency and provides day long moisturization. I can at times go with the same sunscreen for both hands and feet, but my feet are very dry and hence I need something ultra hydrating and moisturizing. This sunscreen which I will be reviewing here is from the sports brand Reebok named as “Reebok Reeshield Sweat and Water Proof SPF 40 Active Sun Screen.” I picked this up solely because of its consistency and smell and of course the brand matters 😉

Product Description:

Formulated to suit all skin types, the Reebok sunscreen is the perfect answer to the adverse affects of harmful UVA and UVB rays on the skin. This filters the sun rays and saves the skin from premature ageing, tanning and other harmful effects of the sun, leaving it totally protected and youthful.

Directions For Use:

Apply generously on the exposed parts before stepping out. Reapply in case of prolonged exposure. Don’t worry about splashing water or sweating. This sun cover cream stays on in both the cases.

Key Ingredients:

Aloe vera extract, Carrot extract, Sandal extract, Licquorice extract, Titanium Dioxide, Glycerin, DL Penthinol, Imidurea, Cetile Palmitate, Waxola ENP, mp, TEA, vitamin E.

Caution: For external use only. Do not ingest. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs wash thoroughly with water. Stop use and consult a doctor if irritation or rashes develops. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool dry place.

Packaging:

The sunscreen comes in a bright yellow-orange colored opaque tube with a screw cap which is having flip top opening as well. This makes the products dispensing super easy without any fear of spills and leakage.

Texture and Fragrance:

The sunscreen is a white-colored thick lotion with the sweet mild fragrance of fruits. The fragrance does not linger on your skin.

My Experience with Reebok Reeshield Sweat and Waterproof Active Sun Screen with SPF 40:

Smooth lotion that glides on easily and gets absorbed into the skin very easily leaving a dewy finish behind. I prefer using it on damp skin to reap the maximum benefits. This lotion till date has caused no adverse reactions on my skin. I personally don’t find it suitable for facial use in case of oily skin as this is a bit on the heavier side and skin may break out. However, dry skin people are the blessed ones and surely have advantages!

This lotion is best for use on my feet as it keeps them hydrated and well moisturized the whole day. I can feel the smoothness and softness in my feet by the end of the day. My feet have not tanned after I started using this religiously. However, it will not help in clearing the already existing tan.
