7 Remedies to Get Rid of Stretch Marks

The way we like our facial skin to be even and flawless, similarly we want the rest of our body to look as good as possible too. But, stretch marks ruin our expectations. Stretch marks usually fade over time eventually when these reasons subside, but there is a possibility that they stay permanently. But if you want them to vanish faster, try these tips and your skin will be free of them in six to eight weeks time.

Stretch marks appear due to:
• Sudden increase in weight due to any reason like obesity or pregnancy
• Use of corticosteroids also induces stretch marks as the cortisol reduces skin’s collagen which in turn reduces skin’s elasticity
• Puberty and puberty hormones also cause stretch marks
• Heredity is also a reason for stretch marks

  3. I have yucky stretch marks on my inner arms (upper) and a few on the sides of my hips. I got them nearly a decade ago (lost 8 kgs at one go, in a span of probably not even two months, I don’t remember exactly), and, well, I didn’t really notice them then. Wish I had, and done something about them. I’m sure noticing them now haha!
    One important thing to keep in mind with stretch marks is, if you are trying to get rid of them, do it as soon as you notice them, preferably as soon as they appear. Turns out they do have this infuriating tendency to love you and never want to leave once they’ve been with you for a while! 🙂
