RevAyur Acti Moist Body Care Cream Review

RevAyur Acti Moist Body Care Cream

Hi All!

With the dawning winters, I’m pretty sure most of us have started stocking lotions and creams to keep our skin from the harsh effects of winters. I don’t really stock body lotion or creams, just hand creams or lotions that could be used as hand creams. This is a product that I got for using as a hand cream. Read on to find out how it fared me.

My Experience with RevAyur Acti Moist Body Care Cream:

The cream comes in a white tube with an orange screw on cap, nothing fancy, highly functional. The consistency of the cream is like that of a thick lotion. It is white in color and has a very intense, sweet smell which lingers on the body. I am not a fan of the smell. I don’t like intense smells at all but a lot many will not find that problematic. The cream, on application, gets absorbed by the skin beautifully. It does moisturize my not –particularly-dry skin well enough. It does not make the skin oily at all. It keeps the exposed skin moisturized for around five hours, which I think is pretty decent for a cream of this range. I don’t really apply lotions and creams in winter. I depend on an olive oil massage post-bath for moisturizing my body in winters and it works fabulously for me. I get lotions and creams just for my hand and lower parts of legs, because for me, these are the parts that are more prone to drying. I got this cream with the intention of using it as a hand cream and it intensively moisturized my hands. The bad part is, it made my palms sweaty. I tried applying it on my body once and it kept it moisturized for around ten hours (the areas layered by clothing). Also, I have a skin that does not get too dry even in winters, so I don’t think it would be enough for hydrating extremely dry skin. The cream professes to “shield against harsh winter sun” but there’s no SPF mentioned, so I wouldn’t apply it on the exposed parts of the body before heading out in the sun. On the whole, a decent cream that moisturizes normal skin quite well, but with an intense smell.

Pros of RevAyur Acti Moist Body Care Cream:

• Decent moisturizing action.
• Really cheap.
• The small size of the tube makes it easy to carry around.
• Not at all oily.

Cons of RevAyur Acti Moist Body Care Cream:

• I don’t particularly like the smell.
• Makes my palms sweaty.
• No SPF.

IMBB Rating:

2.5/5 ( I would have given it more point, but I really hated the smell.)

Will I Repurchase RevAyur Acti Moist Body Care Cream?

No, don’t like the smell. I’ll use up the tube, though, despite the smell.
