My Experience with Revlon Black Brown Colorstay Eyeliner:
Packaging: Packed in a simple card box, this eyeliner’s packaging is simple yet perfectly functional which makes it a winner in the first category over many high end brand eyeliners. The card box is labelled with all the necessary details. The eyeliner is a retractable pencil with thin lead which gives you a sharp and crisp tip every time. It also includes a smudge sponge and a small sharpener to yield crisp lines without reaching out for an additional sharpener.
Texture/Finish/ Fragrance: Revlon Color Stay Eyeliner is fragrance free. The texture is soft and creamy. The best part is that it isn’t too soft or creamy to melt down or break during application. This property eases out the application as it glides on without tugging yet doesn’t break midway ruining your liner wings. There is definitely no fallout or messy application issues. It is forgiving to mistakes to a great extent as rubbing removes the freshly applied lines upto 80%. It carries a matte finish. It is totally safe for sensitive eyes; no irritation or stingy eye issues.
Shade/Pigmentation: This Revlon Color Stay Eyeliner is described as a black-brown shade. I found it to be more like a medium intensity chocolate brown shade; it is no way near black yet has a touch of charcoal effect. Overall I will call it a brown family shade. The pigmentation is praise worthy and 2-3 swipes build great intensity of eyeliner. The tip is sharp and thin, makes precise lines easy. The smudger and sharpener are the tools you always need with an eyeliner and Revlon has combined them all in one packaging.
Wearing Time: Revlon claims it to be a 16 hour long eyeliner. I would say it isn’t completely 16 hour eyeliner yet the wearing time is wonderful. It stays on for around 10 hours on the eyelids and then starts fading away evenly. Revlon Color Stay Eyeliner is waterproof too.
