So this is the second of the three balms I got for IMBB. Now this one is matte and has some orange tone to it,this makes for a nice red for warm skin tones without looking OTT or a cakey red kind of a lipstick. This is a very light weight lip color, almost like wearing no lip product or a light stain. I am into more definition for my lips, hence I am not into lip stains of balms but many of you will like this red and the light texture is has.

The pencil is really pretty to store in your stash, I use a Papier Mâché stand for all my chubby lip products.This one looks so pretty along with the other Colorbar Take me as I am products you know.Anyway, the product retracts up and down so you do not need to sharpen or waste the product at all.

Some of you may even feel the product is very less compared to what you pay.When you roll it up, you get only half the size of the stick out of the entire length. But the formula is such that it is not thick in texture, it works like a light stain, even when you rub a lot of it on the lips, there will be no cakey feel, so this much product will last you a long time.

The color is not powder matte, it is a comfortable nice soft matte and the feel is like wearing no lip color at all.Pigmented lips might not like it much honestly but dry lips will love wearing a soft matte without having to parch their lips.The formula is very light weight.

Coming back to the color, it is a soft bright orange based red and it kind of stand out if you wear it alone without the rest of your make up in place. the color is suitable for Indian skin tones and this can be a good red for beginners.It might not look matte when you wear it but settles to a semi matte finish, nothing like actual powder matte lipsticks.

Pigmentation is good for a balm, it works nicely as a stain. The color needs two even swipes at at least or else your actual lip color may peep through. It lasts a very long time without drying or settling, this is like your own skin 😛 you can count on the color for 5-6 hours at least.
