Hello beautiful ladies,
Today after a gap of many days, I will be reviewing a product from my vanity; it is an eye shadow quad from the famous Colorstay line from Revlon. I did not know much about the product, but when a few days back, I went to the Revlon counter to get a lip butter, the lady at the counter showed me this. This was available in 16 shades (two new shades added recently), but as this was the first time I was trying this product, I went for neutral colors. The shade I brought is called “Decadent.”
Price: INR 730 for 4.8 gm.
The quad comes in a little black packaging with a transparent lid. Transparent lid makes it easier to recognize the colors just by looking at the packaging. The quad comes with a little two way sponge applicator, which sometimes comes really handy for inner corners or touchups. The packaging of the quad is sturdy enough to make it travel friendly.

My Take on Revlon Colorstay 16 Hour Eyeshadow Quad – Decadent:
Decadent is a beautiful combination of 4 neural colors, although the colors are slightly shimmery, but still they are decent enough to be used every day. The first time I swatched these shades, I was amazed by the pigmentation, just one swipe and a beautiful color is transferred to the eyes.
Shade no. 1 which is supposed to be a highlighter, is a light peachy pink kind of a color with loads of shimmers. The shimmers are very minute and look beautiful after proper blending.
Shade no. 2, the overall lid shade is a creamish yellow color that comes out to be most beautiful on the lids, it too has shimmers in it.
Shade no. 3 is again a neutral which actually seems to be a shade of pink in the pan, but comes out to be more on the whiter side on the lids. This color does not have visible shimmer particles but it gives a pearly finish on the eyes.
Shade no. 4, the crease shade, is a matte brown, which seems to have some sparkles in the pan, but when applied on the lid, no sparkles are visible and the color comes out to be completely matte.
Overall, all the four shades completely complement each other and they all blend well together to give naturally beautiful looking eyes. Since I have bought this quad, I have used it many times, and I haven’t had any fallout problem, the colors are not chalky and the color stays for a long time. I am not sure about the 16-hour claim as I haven’t used it for this long, but I have used it for around 6 hours, without a primer and it stayed on intact on my eyes, without any fading.
I am sure that if it can stay for this long without a primer, it can easily stay for at least 10 hours with a primer. All the colors are extremely soft in texture; they almost feel like cream and are also easy to blend.
