Revlon Colorstay Eyeshadow Berry Bloom Review

Revlon Colorstay Eyeshadow Berry Bloom

Hey girls… how you doing? My daily make – up regimen does not involve eye shadows. But I picked up this small pretty eyeshadow box for a function in my family. I was wearing a mauve suit. The Sales representative suggested me to choose this shade as it went along best with my suit. I don’t have much knowledge about eye shadows so I decided to take her advice. Read on to find out how the product fared..

Expert Tip

Dab a primer across the eyelid before applying eye shadows. It helps the true color of the eye shadow show up on the eye lids and also makes the eye shadow stay longer.

Applications for use:

Apply one or both midtones on lid and blend

Use deepest shade to contour increase or to softly line eyes with pointed tip applicator
Use lightest shade to highlight brow bone
Apply thin layers of eyeshadow using a brush or your finger tips. Sweep the shadow from the lash line to the brow bone, from inner to outer strokes. Blend well to achieve uniform look. Use different fingers for different colors.

My Experience with Revlon Colorstay Eyeshadow Berry Bloom

I chose two shades from this palatte, a darker and a lighter shade. I applied the darker shade across my lid. It felt creamy. I have slightly pigmented eye lids but this eye shadow has a good pigmentation so just one sweep showed well on my eye lids. I used the lighter shade below my brow to accentuate my eyes and make them look bigger. I used the first shade on the inside of my eyes. My eyes looked brightened and glamourous. I had not used a primer. Irrespectivce of that the eye shadow lasted the whole night. Yay 🙂

• A bit expensive
Can’t think of any other cons!

Final Verdict on Revlon Colorstay Eyeshadow Berry Bloom:

Revlon 12-Hour ColorStay Eye Shadow Quad is an easy to use eye shadow. It’s velvety texture glides on very easily onto the eyelids providing with a good pigmentation and it lasts for quite some time. I wouldn’t say that it stands upto the claims it makes – It does not stay for whole 12 hours. But comeon now, which other eye shadow does? So, overall this eye shadow is a good buy. It offers almost all shades. One cannot regret buying it ever.

Would I recommend Revlon Colorstay Eyeshadow Berry Bloom to others?

Hell YEAH!!
