Hello charming ladies,
IMBB has given me a lovely hobby and passion; I had never imagined myself as a reviewer of beauty products. The best part is that I am very happy with this new passion of mine. I am grateful and thankful to the lovely pioneers of IMBB, Rati and Sanjeev and their team for giving me this opportunity. A special thanks to Jomol, my guide and my saviour (falling short of words). Okay gals, today I am reviewing Revlon ColorStay Lipliner in Wine which is a beautiful, dark berry shade.
Revlon colorstay lipliner provides long wearing definition, helps lip colour last longer, and prevents feathering and bleeding.

Revlon colorstay lipliner in Wine comes in a black-coloured retractable lip pencil, packaged in a decent plastic packaging. The base of the pencil and the cap both are wine-coloured (the colour of the shade). Incase you have more shades, it becomes easier to pick the desired shade with such packaging.
My Experience with Revlon ColorStay Lipliner Wine:
A few years ago, lip liners were only for special occasions, at least in my case. However as of now, it has become a regular affair for me. I am so addicted to lip liners that cannot think of wearing a lipstick without them. Please do not conclude that I have many of them, just a few basic colours which go with most of my lipsticks. Revlon has always been one of my favourite brands and I always pick their products as and when required. This lip liner is a lovely, dark berry shade which suits my moderately fair skin tone, and looks nice on my pigmented lips.
The pencil is retractable. Simply twist the pencil and you can see the entire lip liner and then twist it back again to withdraw the lip liner into the pencil. I really love this concept and feel this is a better variant compared to the earlier version. I still have the earlier version of Revlon Colorstay Lipliner in Chocolates and still using it. This lip liner has a smooth texture, applies in one glide. The pigmentation is excellent and long lasting, as claimed. It gives hours of rich definition – this is the right phrase!
The intensity of the colour can be built up, depending on the number of swipes. It does not irritate or dry out my sensitive lips. This shade matches with a lot of my lipsticks and gives an even, enhanced look to my lips. It prevents lipsticks from feathering or spreading and gives a beautiful definition to my lips. This shade needs to be removed with a makeup remover or a cleanser.
I have purposely used a light coloured lipstick to show you the lip liner colour. I have been using it for quite some time now and am very happy with the results. Also, as mentioned, I personally prefer these lip liner pencils compared to their earlier ones.
Pros of Revlon ColorStay Lipliner Wine:
• Hours of rich definition, truly long lasting as claimed
• Extends lip colour’s wear time and prevents lipstick from feathering
• Comes with a built-in sharpener
• Smooth texture, glides easily
• Enhances the look of the lips
• A beautiful dark berry shade
Cons of Revlon ColorStay Lipliner Wine:
• None in my opinion
Would I Recommend Revlon ColorStay Lipliner Wine?
Yes, I definitely recommend this lip liner to everyone who would like to give it a try. You can also choose from 12 other shades.
Thanks & cheers!
