My Experience with Revlon Colorstay Maximum Mocha Ultimate Liquid Lipstick:

The slim bottle packaging of the lipstick makes it very attractive. It gives the illusion of good amount of product. The color of the lipstick is visible through the transparent bottle of lipstick. The cap, to which the applicator is attached, gets perfectly screwed to the bottle. This makes the lipstick travel friendly. No tension regarding the of spillage of product. The name and and the shade number of the lipstick are mentioned at the bottom of the bottle. The sponge wand connected with the cap soaks up a good amount of product that is enough to cover entire lips.

It has gel type consistency that glides on the lips very smoothly. It can be applied directly as the base coat or above any regular twist up lipstick as a lip gloss. It tends to dry out the lips over the time so its necessary to exfoliate the lips and to apply a lip balm before putting it as base lipsticks.

I picked up the shade 080 Maximum Mocha which is a kind of maroon brownish shade. It also contains shimmer particles that makes it a perfect lip gloss. I am a warm undertoned person, so I wanted to try out something new. But, every shade in this range is quite bright and goes pretty well with all the undertones. Well done Revlon! Now, I am in love with this lipstick so much that I use it every single day as it does not fade away quickly and hence, no need of constant touch ups.

I personally do not use the lipsticks for 24 hours as it claims, but it stays on my lips for 9 hours despite taking breakfast and lunch with this lipstick on. It fades a little around the corner of my lips, but the appearance of the color remains quite prominent. It doesn’t get removed on its own, you have to use an oil based makeup remover.
