Revlon Colorstay One Stroke Defining Eyeliner – Totally Turquoise

Revlon Colorstay One Stroke Defining Eyeliner – Totally Turquoise

Hello Girls,

How is your weekend coming along.  I am totally loving the recent articles here, especially Amrita and Era’s articles, they are so informative and so useful.  Thank you both of you 🙂  Okay, over to the review now:

Revlon Colorstay One Stroke Defining Eyeliner Totally Turquoise

I am going to review Revlon Colorstay One-Stroke Defining Eyeliner Totally Turquoise:

This eyeliner is available in five shades:

  • Blackest Black.
  • Sensuous Silver.
  • Blooming Blue.
  • Glazed Green.
  • Totally Turquoise.

Product Description:

Revlon Original Technology that prevents Smearing, Smudging and Fading, the new eyeliner pencil glides on as easily on eyes, adding drama and definition to your eyes. The soft core and rich silky coloring Substance makes it extremely easy to apply even on the inner Rim of the eye for a dramatic and stunning look.

Price and Quantity:

Rs. 550 for 1.2 gm (I got this for Rs. 495)

Ingredients:

Not mentioned.

Packaging:

The eyeliner comes as a pencil which has to be sharpened. It has a simple plastic cap without any sharpener. The golden coloured font on the pencil gives it a very classy look.

My Experience with Revlon Colorstay One Stroke Defining Eyeliner – Totally Turquoise:

Colour:

This eyeliner pencil is intensely pigmented.  Just one swipe is enough for the color to show up. It has a little bit of fine sparkle which looks really neat after applying.

Texture:

Extremely soft and creamy.  It glides on easily without tugging.  You have to be extra careful and not apply too much pressure on the tip while applying this eyeliner pencil as it is very soft and creamy and the tip may just break off.  If you use it frequently to line your eyelid, then it would require a lot of sharpening to get thin lines, leading to wastage of the product.

Staying Power:

Now, as it claims, it truly is waterproof.  After applying, allow it to settle for 1 minute or so and then if you try to smudge, it won’t budge even a bit.  Now, the only and the major problem I face with this is that it stings like anything on my waterline.  It stings as if I would go blind 🙁

If applied on the lower lash line or eyelid, it has a great staying power.  It won’t smudge or disappear unless you remove it with an oil-based makeup remover.  The worst part is that it also stings if I apply it on my lash line.

  • Intense pigmentation.
  • Soft and creamy.

  • Smudge proof and waterproof.

Cons of Revlon Colorstay One Stroke Defining Eyeliner – Totally Turquoise:

  • Stings horribly on waterline (it stings even on my lash line).
  • Feels heavy on waterline.
  • As they are soft, frequent sharpening would be needed.
  • Quite pricey, Revlon has increased their price like anything 🙁

No, never as it stings and feels heavy on my waterline and lashline.

Do I Recommend Revlon Colorstay One Stroke Defining Eyeliner – Totally Turquoise?

Not at all, it stings!  But in case, you want to buy, try it first on your eyes and wait for some time and check if it stings.

  1. Hi Dipti! I do have Revlon Colorstay One Stroke Defining eyeliner in black and this colour, I amin lov with this range for. Both pigmentation and staying power. I do not apply colour on my waterline but black is just fine for me in waterline, does not sting at all…sad it is not working. For you 🙁

    1. Same here Rashmita, I have the black one and works good on my waterline…doesn’t sting at all. May be the problem is with colored ones.

    2. Oh Rashmita I have used black one too.. and it doesnt work for me et all.. That one stings worse than this.. I don’t know what to do with it.. I tried applying it on my eyelid too but it feels too heavy… so I don’t use it et all 🙁 🙁

  2. Dipti by rule i dont use eyeliners on waterline. Only those that say kohl are actually safe to use on waterline. I dont think you should have tried it on waterline anyway. 🙁 I loved the color though. 🙂

    1. Ohhhh aisa kya…. I will keep that in my mind.. Vl check kohl’s then..probably Bourjois contour and Kohl .. The only eyeliners that dont sting on me as of now are Attitude by Amway , NYX, Lakme and Kryolan and I guess Diana of London too..

I checked with Revlon and also asked the SA they said it is waterline safe.. so I kind of put my trust in them 🙁

        1. ya thats true.. never use eyeliner pencils on waterline unless they are labelled as kohls.. u would never put liquid liner in your waterline no… it stings like helll….:)

  3. Hello all… How do you ppl sharpen it? I m just clueless… Plssss someone help me out. It’s jus sitting useless. ?
