Revlon Colorstay Overtime Constantly Coral Lip Color Review

Most of the Revlon lip products get a good review from me, but this one is an exception. I bought these in three different shades and this particular shade I had first tried, even though I am not a huge fan of gloss finish lip products.  Continue reading to know more about this lip beauty.

My Take on Revlon Colorstay Overtime Constantly Coral Lip Color:

Most of the lip glosses that I have come in normal packaging, but this one is two-sided lip color with colored gloss on one end and clear gloss at the other end.  It’s a thin, long, test tube-like packaging – skinny long tube with black, solid middle, colored gloss at one end and transparent gloss at the other. A doe-foot applicator is provided to apply colored gloss and a paint brush like tiny applicator to apply clear gloss.  It’s a good packaging, cannot be carried around in the pocket, but definitely in the purse and one gets two products in one tube.

Texture: It is very creamy and smooth to apply, but not too thick or tacky. It has a pretty water shine finish which I prefer over cream shine. Clear gloss adds more shine to the color; however, I would have preferred matte color because shiny product at both ends is redundant.

Color: An amalgamation of red and orange with cream shine finish and clear gloss.

Pigmentation:  Lip glosses don’t have good pigmentation, it’s not mentioned as part of their product description, so I wouldn’t complain about it either. I wear a red lip liner underneath to cover my dark lips and get a more neat finish.

Shimmer and Shine:  Colored gloss has a cream finish and clear gloss has a shine finish.  Again, I repeat it would have been better if colored gloss would have been a matte finish product like Colorbar double-sided lip gloss.

Fragrance:  The product has a sweet fragrance – can’t pin point to a particular flavor.

Staying Power:  Decent staying power like most lip gloss which is 2 to 3 hours and then re-application is required, but I don’t mind that since that is the case with most of the lip glosses.

I am happy with this product and like the final look; it is not very expensive and one gets two glosses in price of one.

• Small quantity goes a long way.
• Stays for at least 2 to 3 hours and more.
• Easy on pocket.
• Tube contains decent amount of product.

Cons of Revlon Colorstay Overtime Constantly Coral Lip Color:

• Does not cover pigmented lips.
• Colored glosses should have been matte.

Would I Repurchase Revlon Colorstay Overtime Constantly Coral Lip Color?

Not this shade because I like to try new products all the time, but would try out other shades from this range.
