My take on Revlon Colorstay Shadow Links Eye Shadow in Lilac:
The color of the shadow is as expected from the color’s name; Lilac is a beautiful shade of lilac with loads of silver shimmer particles. The shimmer particles are easily visible and it becomes even more prominent once the color is blended. I am really happy to say that the color is way more pigmented than periwinkle. The color does not appear properly in single coat but after patting 3-4 coats it becomes bright. The shimmer particles are visible on the lids but when seen from far it appears to be a pearly lilac.
Texture wise also the color is good. It is very smooth to apply are easy to blend. Another thing that I liked in this is that it gives no fallout. Shimmer shadows might sometimes cause shimmers to fall all over the face ruining the makeup but this is safe to use. The staying power of the color is average; it does stay for 3-4 hours but the fading starts just after around 2 hours. But as the color contains lot of shimmer you cannot have bare eyes, the shimmer particles stay on the lids till you actually remove them with a remover.
Overall this was not a perfect shadow for me but I found this better as compared to periwinkle. It’s more pigmented, better staying power and has more shimmers. Personally, I liked this color for a day time look especially due to the effect it gives to my eyes.
