Packaging:

The most impressive thing about these eyeshadows is definitely the price and packaging. The eyeshadow comes in a glossy black rectangular case with a transparent cover lid. The packaging is smartly designed to customize your own palette. Each side of the eyeshadow case has an extra piece of plastic, that’s the piece which interlocks. The other side of each eyeshadow case has a slot, where the plastic piece locks into. So, you can easily link up these eyeshadows and make your own palette. Overall, the packaging of these eyeshadows is super sleek, compact and functional. They can easily fit our vanity pouches and are super travel friendly. The eyeshadow case doesn’t come with any sponge or brush for application.

Colour:

“Copper” is a pretty coppery gold shade with hints of orange undertones to it. It is perfect for Indian skin tones, the shade has super fine golden shimmer particles. I think from the whole range of the eyeshadows, this color will be liked by everyone. It looks pretty and will go really well with our Indian attires.

Texture and Pigmentation:

I picked up a few of these eyeshadows and each eyeshadow is different in formula. The texture of this eyeshadow is quite soft and smooth. It glides easily without any tugging. The shimmer is delicate, finely milled and blended well with the colour. It doesn’t feel gritty or chunky. The eyeshadows does not have any major fallout.  The pigmentation of this eyeshadow is average and decent, you would have to layer the product twice to build up full color intensity. This eyeshadow is the most pigmented when comparing it with the other eyeshadows I own from this range. I recommend you to use a good eye primer to help the eyeshadow pop up better. The eye shadow blends well and you can easily build up the colour.

Staying Power:

The eyeshadow has a low staying power. It stays on me for only about 2 and half hours and then starts fading. The SA at the counter told me this eyeshadow has 16 hours staying power! A primer underneath is a must for me to make these work better. I really wished they lasted at least for 4 hours on their own. The low staying power is definitely a turn off for the product.

Will I Repurchase/Recommend Revlon Colorstay Shadow Links Eyeshadow in Copper?

No, I was excited to try, wouldn’t be repurchasing it. I do recommend it to beginners and also to all makeup enthusiasts like me who want to give it a try! 😀 Overall, the eyeshadow is not that great in quality but this particular shade works quite averagely for the price. I really wished it had stayed longer, it would have definitely been a hit for all of us.
