The eyeshadow comes in a glossy black rectangular case with a transparent cover lid. The packaging is smartly designed to customize your own palette. Each side of the eyeshadow case has an extra piece of plastic, that’s the piece which interlocks. The other side of each eyeshadow case has a slot, where the plastic piece locks into. So, you can easily link up these eyeshadows and make your own palette. Overall, the packaging of these eyeshadows is super sleek, compact and functional. They can easily fit our vanity pouches and are super travel friendly. The eyeshadow case doesn’t come with any sponge or brush for application.

Colour:

The shade “Melon” is a pale peachy rose gold shade in a satin finish. It has some micro golden shimmer particles which are super fine and go unseen even after swatching it. But, you can notice it when you look at it in the pan. It does remind me of the Inglot eyeshadow in pearl 40The eyeshadow looks almost matte, it has less shine and is very subtle in finish. It will work beautifully for everyday wear. I like to use this color all over the eyelids and finish it off with a medium brown shade at the crease. As the color is very light and pale, it doesn’t show up really well on my pigmented lids on itself. So, I like to apply it over a creamy base like the NYX Jumbo pencil or Maybelline Color tattoos. It looks really pretty and vivid when layered over the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Fierce and Tangy. I think this color will go really well on fair to medium skin tones and it might look a bit stark on dusky and darker skin tones, but it does depend on how you are using it.

Texture and Pigmentation:

The texture of this eyeshadow is decently soft and smooth. It glides easily without any tugging and it doesn’t turn patchy or difficult to blend. The shimmer is delicate and finely milled, it doesn’t feel gritty or chunky. This eyeshadow does not have any major fall outs. The pigmentation of this eyeshadow is quite low like most of the eyeshadows from the range. It doesn’t show up well in a single swipe, you need to layer the product at least thrice to show up well.

Staying Power:

The eyeshadow has a low staying power. It stays on me for only about 2 hours and then starts fading. A primer or any creamy base underneath these eyeshadows is highly recommended and a must for me to make these work better. The low staying power is definitely a turn off for the product.
