Revlon Contour Brush Review

By Priya Sinha

Hello gorgeous ladies,

Out of all the makeup brushes that Revlon has recently launched, this Revlon Contour Brush was the one that excited me the most. I am a huge believer of contouring and the magic it can create on the face if done correctly. I do a little bit of contouring and bronzing on an everyday basis and I thought a new makeup contour brush won’t hurt! So, here it is ladies – presenting my favourite brush from this new Revlon range – The Revlon Contour brush…drum rolls please!

A whopping CAD 19.99!!

My Experience with Revlon Contour Brush:

The brushes that Revlon released in their new collection are “smokey eye brush duo brush,” “lip retractable brush,” “lash and brow groomer,” “powder brush,” “Contour Brush,” “Blush Brush,” “Blending Brush,” “Foundation Brush,” “Crease Shadow Brush” and “Concealer Brush.” I buy all types of makeup brushes. Right from MAC to Sigma to Eco Tools (my most favourite) to ELF and even those cheap (only in terms of price) eBay makeup brushes. In this long-going love affair with makeup brushes, I sure come across great ones and ones that are super duds!! This Contour Brush from Revlon is absolutely astounding.
Packaging

Love at first sight! The packaging of these brushes is so luxurious and so gorgeous and so beautiful and so professional!! It’s made of plastic but still the handle of the brush is like a matte finish material with red detailing at the bottom. Revlon calls it the “diamond grip handle.” Also, the neck of the brush has a glossy, shiny red lining which looks so chic. Also, the outer packaging of these brushes is very fancy.

I must say, that Revlon was smart to package these brushes so beautifully because they knew people would ignore the price tag and get these babies home 😛
Contour brush

This Revlon Contour Brush does not shed or feel scratchy or rough on the skin. I usually use it for contouring and also for setting my face with loose powder and it does a great job at that too. Also, the size of the brush handle is perfect and does not weigh too much which is a great thing. It fosters smooth makeup application and is fairly easy to wash.
Revlon Contour Brush

Overall, I am super impressed with these brushes and this Contour brush in particular because it offers great quality and ease of application. The price sure is steep, but I can overlook that for this good quality and packaging.

  • Brush handle is the perfect size and weighs appropriately.

Would I Recommend/Repurchase Revlon Contour Brush?

Absolutely ladies! I highly recommend this Revlon Contour Brush to all makeup lovers as this is super high quality and professionally luxurious. I do agree that it is expensive for a drugstore brand, but if you can ignore the price tag, you will sure enjoy a delightful addition to your makeup brush stash. After all, love does not come with a price tag! 😛
