Hello beautifuls!
How are you doing today? We are experiencing romantic rainy weather around; wish it stays for few days! Anyway, I am also here to talk about another beauty tool I purchased last year which needs no introduction. After my good experience with Japonesque Go Curl Eyelash Curler, I went ahead with this drugstore eyelash curler from Revlon, just because I was curious to try traditional metallic curlers. I find it decent for my small eyes, though I am not willing to get it again. So, please read on further to know more about Revlon Eyelash Curler!
Price:
$2.74 for one eye lash curler with extra rubber pad; price varies across stores
My Experience with Revlon Eyelash Curler:
Well, the metal eyelash curler comes in ordinary packaging with extra rubber pad; nothing to rave about! The easy scissor like finger grip makes it perfect for beginners like me who are using these metal tools for very first time.
The eyelash curler looks cute and not scary at first attempt, thankfully, I appreciate the rubber padding in this curler that ensures minimal or no pinching sensation while working on my eyelashes! The eyelash cage is quite wide and big to fit any standard size at once.
However, the contour of my eyes is such that most eyelash curlers won’t fit in at once without pinching my skin often. And, this Revlon Eyelash Curler is not an exception as it does pinch my eyes occasionally while I am attempting to curl all my lashes at once, especially when I am in a hurry!
I also find it slightly difficult to use on inner and outer corners of my eyes somehow, but then that is the case with every eye lash curler I have tried so far. Moreover, I need multiple strokes with this lash curler to wide open and visibly curl my eyelashes, unlike my Japonesque Lash Curler.
Over all, I find it decent according to my eye lashes and recommend it to girls with long lashes and big eyes as they can reap maximum benefits, at once. But, it won’t help with fast or easy curling in anyway. It will need multiple strokes to curl and hold those eye lashes in place. I don’t think I will get it again.
Let’s sum up pros and cons:
Pros of Revlon Eyelash Curler:
• An easy grip metallic eyelash curler at cheap price
• It comes up with rubber padding to ensure no damage or pain to eyes
• It works decently on my small eyes and medium length eyelashes
• It comes with an extra rubber pad
Cons of Revlon Eyelash Curler:
• I can never achieve perfect curls at once
• I do feel pinching sensation quite often
• Guess the metal cage size is not meant for my small eyes
• The curls, if achieved through this curler, do not last longer
IMBB Rating:
2.8/5
Conclusion:
Well, I had curiosity to try metallic curlers after trying small, pocket friendly eyelash curlers and now that I have used both varieties, I would anytime like to pick Japonesque Eyelash Curler irrespective of its price. I don’t think I would get this curler again!
