I picked up two palettes from this range and OMG I was so disappointed to have spent IMBB money on this . Anyway, one was broken so I will not be reviewing it, but this one is something I was so hopeful about but it turned a chalky shimmery mess. I am shocked to see they have priced it at 950!
I like the packaging a lot, the colors through the lid, the shimmer bar look, everything is so pretty. this might be a take on Bobbi brown shimmer bars. These are truly shimmering bars since they have a lot of silver shimmer to them. There is no mirror but overall too the packaging could fall and break in no time, it is simply very pretty to look.
It says rose glow and it has these beige and pink bars, the lighter ones are all shimmer and the pink ones are super chalky. There is not fun with so much shimmer. Though it is a highlighting palette, I am not happy with so much of shimmer to it.
There is not pigmentation, I would say it is rather too shimmery. The lighter pinks are not pigmented, they are without shimmer but very light. The shimmer shades feel shimmery and gritty, they have no color either. It is a disappointment.
Like I said these are chalky and shimmery and that is that, it is not a nice feel to swipe the finger across to get loads of shimmer and chalky powder on the fingers, oh, it is rather hard enough to not give you any powder at all.
though this is a highlight, this need not have been so shimmery. It could have been metallic but all you get on the face is silver shimmer, no pink tones are seen either. So this has a high shimmer finish, and the shimmer is gritty so it twinkles under the light.
Nothing great too since all you have is shimmer. The shimmer really stick to oily skin so may last, but then who wants that.
Such an expensive chalk and grit shimmer palette? No I would not recommend it to anyone.
1/5 for being pretty.
