Hello pretty people!
Wassupp? How do you like the weather out there!! I’m glad summers finally over, Sorry SUNNIE, I don’t like you and I’m glad you’re gone! 😀 Anyway, coming to the point….before that a Disclaimer: Please don’t kill me for writing yet another review on a blush! Ehehehe, I don’t know if it’s just me who is so obsessed, or is there anyone out there who is blush crazy like I am? Let me know! 😛 LOL! One of the most vital ingredients in the application of my perfect makeup would be a blush! 😀 I don’t think there is anything else on this planet that can make me look more alive and fresh than the addition of a subtle yet bright blush! The blush I will be reviewing for you today is Revlon Cheek Color in “In The Pink”… let’s see if the blush is a hit or a miss for me!
The freshest cheeks are In The Pink- better-than-natural color that really looks real. Super soft powder makes blending a breeze. Fresh-for-hours formula resists streaking, blotching, fade-out.
Price: It is priced around 550 INR.
My take on Revlon Cheek Color In the Pink:
Packaging: It comes in a plastic packaging, with a transparent lid, a tiny blush brush and the blush itself. The back has the shade name and product description written. Nothing fancy about the packaging, something I don’t like!! I like the packaging to be happening and cute and everything nice!! Anyway, I cannot really say that the packaging is durable, because I dropped it once and the lid came off! That, I don’t like!!! The packaging has now changed..i like the newer one!!
Color: The color is a beautiful bubblegum-rosy pink and looks really natural on the cheeks!!! This is probably one of those blushes that makes me look like I’m actually blushing, one of the best traits in a blush I feel, I shouldn’t make you look like you are wearing something…it has to look as natural as it can possibly be!!!!
Pigmentation: On the pigmentation front, I don’t think it is the best…you need to layer it up, in order for it to show up on the cheeks,. One layer is never going to be sufficient!! But, I still use the blush because of the beauty of its color!
Texture: The texture of the blush is again very nice,I agree to the product claims on this front, because the powder is actually super soft and blends in beautifully!! It doesn’t look chalky at all, again a good thing!
Staying power: The staying power isn’t great either, blushes should last for 5 hours at least, this blush doesn’t sit on my skin more than 3 hours!! I wish it stayed longer!
Pros of the Revlon In the Pink Cheek Color :
- Beautiful color
- Looks real on the skin
- Love the texture
- Blends really well
- Isn’t chalky
Cons of the Revlon In the Pink Cheek Color :
- Color-pay off isn’t great
- Staying power isn’t great
- I don’t like the packaging
Do I recommend the Revlon In the Pink Cheek Color Blusher?
Well, the color is beautiful, but for a few missed traits,,I wouldn’t recommend it! You may just find a similar color in other brands which tend to last longer and has a good color-pay off!
Would I repurchase the Revlon In the Pink Cheek Color Blusher?
Nope,I might just get a similar color from another brand!! The color is just gorgeous and I would certainly invest in something like this!
