This review is going to be on the Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain in the shade “LA Exclusive.” This is a true Barbie pink lip shade and is definitely one of the girliest lip shades I have in my makeup collection. This is the lip shade that I reach out for when I’m basically in a very girly mood and I’m wearing pink head to toe (we all have those days every once in a while, don’t we?). My Experience with Revlon LA Exclusive Colorstay Moisture Stain:
Packaging: I like the packaging of this lip shade/lip gloss. It comes in a sleek rectangular tube. The tube shows the colour of the lip shade inside it. The applicator that it comes with is especially nice – it is a doe-foot applicator which is perfect when you need precision and neatness in the application of your lip product.
Shade: 010 LA Exclusive is a true Barbie pink colour. It is a cool-toned lip shade with undertones of blue in it. There’s this thing about cool-toned lip shades that they make your teeth appear whiter, which is always a plus point. This shade is one which will suit most kin tones. This lip shade is true to its color. It comes on the lips just as it appears in the tube. This lip shade complements my skin tone really well. This is a classic pink shade and will look especially great in summer time.
Texture/Pigmentation/Longevity: Revlon colorstay moisture stain is neither a lipstick nor a lip gloss. It doesn’t have the pigmentation of a lipstick but it also does not have the sheerness of a lip gloss, it stands somewhere in the middle. The texture is smooth and it glides on to the lips like a dream. It is easy to blend this lipstick on the lips for a clean look. It does not smudge and stays in place.
It does transfer a little, but so do all the lip glosses. It is not overly pigmented, but it is definitely pigmented to the point that I can get away with wearing this lip shade on its own, without a lip liner underneath. It definitely hides the pigmentation of my lips. It is very moisturizing on the lips and doesn’t dry out my lips. It stays for a good 3+ hours on me but I don’t mind re-applying it.

- Staying power is not that great.
- It has a weird fragrance to it.
