Revlon LipGlide Sterling Petal Lipstick Review, Swatch

If you remember I had once told you about a bag full of make-up that I received from my boss. That had mainly Revlon and Chambor goodies. Today I am going to review one product from that collection and that is Revlon LipGlide in the shade Sterling Petal 215. As I have already reviewed the shade Crystal Amethyst I will not go into much detail except for the specific shade.
Packaging:
Revlon LipGlide Sterling Petal comes in a plastic body with the body color same as that of the lip color. The cap is a flimsy translucent plastic cap with the bar code and directions to use. The tube is to be twisted to get the color on the sponge tip.
Finish:
Revlon LipGlide Sterling Petal is from the Full Color+Shine collection. True to its name, the lipstick gives an equal amount of color pay-off and gloss as well. Glides on lips like a gel and covers pigmentation.
Pigmentation:
As this shade is a light shade you might have to swipe a few times if you want the color to show up. This shade in particular is pretty sheer but it is buildable at the same time. Building up the color might feel heavy on the lips though.
Staying Power:
Revlon LipGlide Sterling Petal will stay on your lips for about 2-2.5 hours after that it will disappear completely.
My experience:
This is a pretty sheer color so can be used almost every day. There are subtle shimmers in the lip-color which adds to the glam of the shade. On me it comes off like a baby pink color. I quite like the color for day wear and the best part is, it is non-sticky. I have used quite a lot of it and it gives sheer coverage and moisture.
Price: Approx Rs.500 for 1.9ml

• You will not know how much product is left

Repurchase: Probably no, I have so many in my wishlist already.
Recommend: Yes, if you are looking for a decent baby pink lipstick/lipsloss, give this a try.

this is such an every day wearable shade rash! perfect amount of color and shimmer but between the two i liked amethyst best!

OMG Rashmita its such a gorgeous shade.. I don’t understand why I don’t get these type of shades ?? 🙁 Is it available in general stores or in online only? Will love to have this one..
aww…i guess the SA at the counters tend to show darker colors…thats the case almost everywhere, there are very few sensible SAs who will try to understand your need and help you out…

I had this shade and lovd it, it is a universal shade which can flatter u anytime and goes with any outfit… it is the only lipstick i finished upto the end 🙂
but its staying power is average..
