Revlon Love Her Madly Eau De Toilette Review

I love when I get gifts unexpectedly and when they are perfumes, I just go crazy! Revlon Love Her Madly was gifted to me by my DH just out of the blue. I think he asked one of his friends coming from Australia to buy this.  So, very aptly named 🙂

Product Description:

She turns heads, makes you smile and carries an air of sophistication, style and charm like no other. It’s the little things she does that remind you how feminine a woman can be and it’s the shy glances at a friend that touch the heart of all who are close to her. There is something about her that you just can’t quite put your finger on, but you just can’t help but LOVE HER MADLY.  Love Her Madly was launched in 2003 and has a harmonious floral symphony that is dominated by the stylish presence of rose and lilac. It is enveloped in a soft, powdery note that washes over your emotions and lingers in your memory as a fragrance never to be forgotten.

Top notes: mandarin, ylang-ylang and bergamot.
Heart: violet, rose, lilac and carnation.
Base: sandalwood, vanilla and powdery musk.

My Take on Revlon Love Her Madly Eau De Toilette:

The EDT comes in a tall glass bottle with a regular sprayer. The bottle though looks simple but has its own elegance.  This EDT has a complete floral fragrance. It smell soft, feminine yet very seductive. The fragrance is rose based, but I don’t think it smells of the red velvet roses. More like white or pink roses which have a less rosy smell. It does quite a bit of powdery smell which I do not really appreciate. The fragrance also has a hint of sweet citrus smell probably due to mandarin orange.  The final smell dries down to sandalwood and vanilla with a lot of musky smell.

Overall, I like this fragrance which reminds me of my convent school days with some of the parsi teachers smelling like it. It gives that classic feel due to the rose top notes and the powderiness. I think the perfume is for everyone.

On spraying, the fragrance may seem a little strong, but it settles down beautifully. The lasting power is pretty good for the EDT. It lasts a good 3-4 hours. Even then, it does not completely fade out. It gives a beautiful lingering smell for another couple of hours at least.

Pros of Revlon Love Her Madly Eau De Toilette:

  • Feminine, floral yet a very seductive fragrance.
  • Love all the notes of the fragrance.
  • Love the elegant bottle.
  • Great lasting power of 3-4 hours.
  • Smell lingers on for another couple of hours.

Cons of Revlon Love Her Madly Eau De Toilette:

  • Not many cons.
  • I am not too fond of the powderiness of the EDT.

IMBB Rating:

4/5
